There's a 3060ti on sale on newegg right now for $410 and the 6650XT is retailing for around $260. This is just ridiculous. Why the hell would I buy a 3060 if I can get a 6650XT for that much cheaper

@@JALAL919 @cringyman4459 $150 for what? the monitor? I paid that much for my 1440p75hz as for igpu no forget it, even what is it called, 680m igpu? OR whatever it is, even that's like a, 1650 at absolute best. And in order to even get that, you'd have to be overspending tremendously on the CPU just to get that. I really wish people were more clear about this during the pandemic do NOT get iGPU! That was purely a stopgap measure for when GPU prices all were so exorbitant that it'd literally cost you $250 for a used busted ass GTX 970 and so therefore with literally no GPUs available made in the last 10 years it made at least some sense using an igpu--as a stopgap measure. Do notice: that nobody who actually got a 3200g or whatever and used igpu in the pandemic ever had any intention on still using the thing. They only purely used it because they literally had to and were only waiting for prices to fall down and for the GPU availability to go up, and now that has long since happened. Where it used to be 5700XT was literally $800 minimum, you can get one for 150 bucks nowadays on ebay. So to that I say, skip the iGPU entirely because it's not worth it and it's quit stupid to be buying a 7900x when you could've just gotten a 7600 and paired it with some cheaper older gen but still powerful GPU with the price difference. Remember building a computer is kinda like minmaxing your character build, there's some things you might not want to do without or cheap out on and you do need to make the whole system in harmony with itself (like not pair a garbage board and garbage RAM to top of the line CPU with garbage fire hazard PSU) but generally you're given a set limit on stat points (dollars) to spend on getting the best performance out of your build. It doesn't have to be the best AI number cruncher, a good system just does what you want it to do. For a gaming PC, that often means trying to find the best GPU for the money and a reliable enough CPU. The only thing you need to account for is resolution scale, because inverse square law, you need 4x the GPU power for ever 2x the resolution scale. So really you don't actually need much to power a 1080p display these days, because mainly all those monster GPUs like 7900XTX are literally made for high refresh 4k systems. A used 3060ti off ebay or something like that (make sure you can do returns! any reliable seller allows returns) is more than plenty for 1080p.

Best benchmarks! Loving the conclusion screens. Is there a comparison between 6600 and 6700xt for price/performance? I did calculate it on basis of your 6700xt benchmark which sadly had no summary. Am I correct with around 124fps for the 6700xt without RT, meaning it's around 41% faster than a 6600? That 6700xt benchmark is 2 months old, so we see here some improvement for the AMD cards of around 5 percent in some games. The 6700xt might have improved, too. So maybe 45% faster?

I also have the 6650xt for 1440p gaming and it runs really well. I just had to adjust the gpu's fan curve quite a bit because it would shoot up to 76c under load. After messing with the fans it stays at 58c on average at max load.

I'm using the Sapphire Pulse which might have higher clocks than other RX 6700, out of the box. Except that everything is running stock.

is the RX 6700 overclocked? I have Sapphire RX6700 Gaming OC and it does not clock so high. Checking the Pulse edition and it also shouldn't clock 2600+ without OC

All GPUs are running stock. The GPU frequency for AMD RX 6000 is dynamic and will depend on the game and how intensive the GPU load is. Check The Dying Light 2 results as this game is pushing GPUs to limits. Different models can have different GPU clock even when spec should be identical. GPU manufacturer can tweak boost clock and voltages in GPU BIOS.

I just bought it, but in some games like GTA V, F1 2018, Assassin's Creed Origins... with everything on ultra settings, the fans get really loud at 2500 revolutions per minute or more (80% speed), but the graphics card doesn't get hot, it stays at a maximum of 70 degrees. Is it normal for the graphics card to make noise when it's running at 100% GPU usage? Thanks

You can always create a custom fan curve for any AMD or NVIDIA GPU, to reduce the fan noise. Every GPU with fans will make noise. How loud the fans will be, it will depend on the GPU cooling solution, your ambient temperature, PC case airflow and several other factors.

Mayve at 720p. ;) But 720p is to low. 1080p is the standard, I think. Also over 1080p it doesn't really matter. If you work on the screen, then maybe, yes, you have more space but for gaming??? 😲

Vram limitations is why it won't be very futureproof, you'll have to turn some settings down, unless you'll get really low 1 percents.

just wait and watch, you will slowly realize that you have made the wrong decision. for mid range gaming the 6700 and the 6700 xt are the best and if you are not an amd fan then go for the 3060 12gb.

I just bought a new XFX 6700 10gb not even two weeks ago. Great deals on them lately. Dropped it in a pcie 4.0, I average an easy 60 to 80+ fps in flight sim running at 1080p on ultra settings. So yeah, i'm happy with this card.

Gpus are so good now i such i knew what to get for 200-300 i really like the Intel arc series as they're cheap and have 16gb vram. I play a bit of vr not alot but it would be nice to have more than 16gb if sli was still relevant I'd defintely would do that

Plenty of content available online about FSR 2 vs DLSS 2 regarding image quality. There is no single answer because it will hugely vary from one game to another, and on the render resolution. @@hiriotapa1983 who tf actually uses raytracing? when the devs of those games will get lazy and the performance will start getting trash even on high end gpus you will anyway need to turn it off to get a decent framerate. and then you will need only the raw performance, rt cores will be useless.

There won't be any significant difference if pair with similar performance CPU from Intel, both AMD and Intel support ResiazableBAR. These GPUs are to slow for CPU like 5800X3d or 13600k to make any difference.

Why 130 FPS is a problem? Try with Basic preset to see if the FPS will increase, if not then you are CPU/RAM limited.

In the video is RX 6700 not RX 6700 XT, it's a different GPU. You should check GPU usage, if it's not maxed out or over 90% then you have CPU bottleneck and the only way to increase performance is to tweak RAM, Overclock the CPU or get 5800X3D as this is the CPU used in the video.

Eu sou meio inexperiente nesse assunto então eu quero tirar uma dúvida com vocês, eu tenho um ryzen 5 4600g sem placa de vídeo, tenho 16gb de ram 3200 e queria agora comprar uma placa, eu não edito vídeos e nem faço lives, somente gosto de jogar, qual placa seria melhor pra mim, uma RX 6650 xt ou uma RTX 3060 12gb? as duas está com o mesmo valor onde eu moro.

Depende se você se importa com Ray tracing ou não. Caso não queira saber de ray tracing, a RX6650XT é a melhor opção e vice versa

Germany prices: 6600 = 269 euro, 6650xt = 329 euro, 6700 = 358 euro, 6700xt 399, 3060ti = 435 euro. Which one to buy?? Based on your benchmarks, the 6700xt is about 42-45 percent faster than the 6600 and about 48% more expensive.

GPU Power for AMD GPUs is software reading which is not accurate. AMD GPU sensors don't show consumption of the entire GPU, some of the components are excluded. Nvidia GPU Power sensor is far more accurate which includes nearly every component of the GPU. Look at the Total Power as this is accurate reading directly from the PSU.

i think nfs unbound is a bad game for the gpu test, i play unbound with a 1660super with upscaling fsr2.0 on sharpen and at high settings at 155fps and ultra at 100-115fps how could it be a 3060ti has only 133fps with dlss on? i undervolted it and downclock it 100mhz it never reach the 55°C so no thermal limits!

Are you testing the NFS Unbound using the exact same scenario which is very demanding, using the same drivers, and the same game version from over 7 months ago? If you are just driving around the open world city, then the game is not demanding and gives you more frames. Try with a few cars in a race, you will get a much lower framerate.

Hm, I have in God of War (high preset) with my 6650xt (OC 2860/2240MHz + SAM) average 98-102 FPS (not 91). Even in heavy scenes 93 fps. Ryzen 5 5600x, W10. And your Ryzen 7 5800x3D must give more fps in all games. But it is not. AC Valhalla: 99-100 fps avg, confirm.

Did you test the exactly same scenario as I did, with the exact same driver and version of the game? If not then FPS will never match. Second you should never compare FPS in open world games like God of War when the fps is dynamic, fps will massively differ from one scene to another.

5800X3D will NOT give you more FPS just because it's a faster CPU. All games when GPU limited will run at the exact same FPS, faster CPU will not give you more frames.

If you are only getting 120FPS then you are CPU limited

You can't overclock Ryzen 7 5800X3D. If your GPU usage is at 95% or higher, then you are GPU limited. If your GPU usage is low, then you are CPU limited. If you will reduce the in game setting in Warzone to the lowest possible and still get only 120 FPS then you are definitely CPU limited. Warzone keeps getting updates nearly every other week, and each update can drastically change the performance. Faster RAM will significantly reduce CPU bottlenecks and Warzone will hugely benefit from it.

RPM itself means nothing, you can have a small 40x40mm fan running at 2000 RPM which will be dead silent, or you can have a massive 200x200mm fan which will be extremely loud at 2000RPM.
