Ryan is 25 with millions of dollars and temptation everywhere. I'd say he's doing pretty well. You expect him to have the wisdom of someone who is the interviewer's age? Wisdom comes with age. Being in the limelight isn't easy, much less when you're young. I pray Ryan matures and continues on his path to Christ. God bless Ryan.

Ryan’s a wonderful kid! So much energy. I’m proud of him. Excellent podcast, PBD . . . Only Ryan can verify this true story: I believe Ryan was my GED student for about 1 month around August 2016. We were standing in Room 9 at Mojave HS (Hesperia) - alone before class. He told me out of the blue that he was going to be a professional boxer. I was startled - for no one has ever stated to me something so bold before - and said, “That is awesome. Good luck to you.” I never saw him in class again.

I know the live chat was going off the rails about him eating, slurping etc. (honestly who cares) But I like that PBD gave him a platform to chat and share the word of God honestly. So what, he's not perfect. Didn't God use sinners and imperfect people in the Bible to spread his word? ( Just look at King David, Solomon...Jonah? Jonah literally ran from God and tried to hide from him. Then there's Saul aka Paul, who literally unalived Christians) And while I don’t agree with the cursing and other actions of his life, he is still growing and maturing into the man that God intends him to be. Hopefully, Pat and Ryan stay in touch.

He didn't school nothing lol. Ppl think that Ryan isn't dedicated because of his personality but at the end of the day, he puts in the work. He seeks to get better. Being dedicated in a sport is not about how you sound on an interview. It's about are you putting in the hard work and dedication when it matters and it sounds to me like he is. If he wasn't dedicated, he would have never made the catchweight in the Tank fight and abided by the rehydration clause. He put himself through hell to make that fight happen. I don't think you casuals understand 😂

My favorite part of the podcast is when you told him you don’t feel that hunger for greatness from him, because it’s true. All i hear from this kid is excuses and him trying to convince us that he has a great’s mentality. I don’t see it either, from his background the amount of people he backstabbed for asking for greatness out of him, to the way he handled the consequences, when you hear the greatest speak they never blame anyone they talk about letting their team down.

This was a great interview Patrick Bet-David! I've been involved with boxing in Canada for over 20 years and a lot of fighters need wise council, that they don't get. You challenged Ryan, which I've never seen an interviewer do with him. You gave him valuable advise, in talking to all the GOATS he can (he's in the best position to do so). Great advice. I felt your authenticity in wanting to help Ryan and I think he received the information. This was another great interview for the PBD team. I am disappointed with the immature comment section, but it's to be expected of keyboard warriors.
