This grandma is eternally grateful to you, Ryan, for making her life livable again. Shoulder pain - gone. Lower back pain - gone. Biceps/triceps doubled in size. I look better now, than I looked 30 years ago. I have all of your programs, and I hope you won't stop on PPL. Keep'em coming, my dear. I'm ready for more.

I'm 66 years old, turning 67 at the end of April. I have been lifting consistently since I was 57. At 6'3" 258lbs and 20% body fat (bioimpedance scale) I am proud of the muscle I have built. For the past four months I've done two full body workouts a week incorporating lots of supersets (e.g., bendover rows, then cable flies, then dumbbell side laterals then 60 to 70 sec rest, which I time). I was getting ready to change it up and saw your focus on metabolic stress vs. progressive overload, so I thought I'd give it try. I kept my workout the same with lots of compound sets, but pushed my first set till exhaustion on every exercise and cut the rest to 15 seconds before I start the second set, then third set, etc. Talk about huffing and puffing! The only rest I'm getting is walking to different areas of the gym and getting set up for the next supersets. I'm dripping sweat on everything! Yes, I finish faster, but I'm beat, shaking as I walk to the car. I've worked out this way for three sessions and I am already seeing more size in my arms, chest, and shoulders. Slight, but noticeable. Also, more vascularity. I plan to keep it up, really focus on the muscle connection, and push myself. Thanks for helping me see a different way!

On my back days l like to lift heavy on deadlift (don’t we all), but I lately I’ve been doing what Ryan suggests and finishing my session with 2-3 sets of 30 reps. My back hates me the next day (it’s a good sore tho, the kind of sore that forces you to keep good posture instead of hunched over) but I’ve been getting great back results.

@guntera3845
@guntera3845 2 жыл бұрын
@@MW-ty5zw What works really well for me is 6-7 sets of 3 reps of deadlift building up to a top set and then 1-2 back off sets. Then 4-5 sets 8 reps of RDLs with big chest que. After that Chinups. Even after getting used to this I still feel it really well in my back and my deadlift also blew up. If I do more then 10 reps on deadlift my cns and lungs give up before my back so i don‘t really like going high reps on deadlift. Might just me being a pussy and not getting used to it.

@@normanhuefner9048 you should progressive overload your exercise. Either by doing them longer i.e more sets or harder i.e implementing extra weight. The need for variation is a big misconception in the Workout scene. If you do push ups/pull ups, put a backpack on with a few water bottles. Easy to again progressively overload. If youre doing this for 7 months maybe an actual workout program would be good. The App Exerprise is what i use alot. You set what you want to work on, what equipment you got and how long you wanna work it out. Do sets of 3 muscle groups each 15 mins for a 45 minute workout. 40 seconds under tension 20 second pause is a easy steady paste.

have you ever thought a kiss is actually just two people making a long tube from but to but. That was a horrible mental gift you gave me a while ago, thought I'd share. Point is I once was 300 pounds and was so afraid of getting fat again I just ate air and played with myself in front of a tv. Thank you man, sincerely. In 1 month of hearing your amazing comedy show, I got motivated. My first day I maxed out at 16 knee (pansy) push-ups. Now I'll force 10 sets of to fail elevated push-ups. It hurts when I land face first on my hard wood floor, but it hurts less than being pathetic. I do one finger pushups, one arm pull-ups and I have a nice butt. On that note, it would be great if you could shout out about mewing while working out. I started mewing the same time I started lifting and now I'm attractive to the eyes and getting bulked. Just a thought to help the other idiots like me out there.

@@Balticblue93 i would suggest 30 day full gym. As long as you have access to a gym. I'm currently in week 2 of PPL it's also great. Both are ass kicker

Hey Ryan! Pls add more options for making payments for your programs. The credit card only doesn't allow me to buy it :( Pls add international debit cards, UPI ids, net banking etc....

30 gym program was the best and worst $20 I ever spent! I understand now how hard I could have been working this whole time. No choice but to grow on that program.
