I am more interested in run times on the high, rather than low, on devices, because when things were on high that's when inefficiency Creeps in.

How long does the fan last on high?

2-way charging on the new battery--awesome! You know I just had the thought the other day that "hey maybe this USB Lithium can charge something else?!" Nope didn't work, but really nice to see they added this now. Hopefully they can either add this to newer versions of the 2Ah or make the 3Ah the standard battery. What I don't get is why they didn't think of this sooner, along with the charge indicator. The latter of which they obviously had experience with, with ONE+ batteries--originally had no indicator and then it got added on higher end batteries, then became a standard feature. This 3Ah is really what the whole thing should have been to begin with. It's not like these tools have been out for years or there weren't 3,000mAh cells before now. Kind of feel like a sucker for buying some of the now "1st gen" stuff...oh well.

Bought two for my rv works great for such a small fan. They dont blow much air but it does make a difference

How much will that charge up a cell phone battery? Looks like it would be a great travel backup battery.

When charging my 2amp battery the green flash is more rapid is this normal..im using a fast charger

Prefer the model that uses regular batteries. Lasts longer, one less battery type I need worry about and it gives the fan weight to easily set it down and it stays anchored well.

Hm, I wonder if the Ryobi 21-watt or 14-watt solar panel will charge either of those batteries.

The highest amperage an 18650 battery can be is 3.5ah. So they could have a higher current battery, but, most companies aren't going higher than 3ah cells

if they can use that for a ryobi right angle impact wrench, it would be a game changer, but I highly doubt it since the battery looks like it wont put out enough volts

A small correction the TEK-4 line was lithium-ion. I still use them.

I thought the original batteries would have charged a phone when I originally bought in to this tool line. Wish they would have done this for the first run of batteries, but maybe this is a case of them listening to feedback.

These batteries leave a little to be desired. They get very warm at the top whenever they are doing anything over the USB port. All that heat is waisted energy. My guess is they are stepping up or down the USB voltage of 5.5v to the battery voltage of 3.6v. These are also pretty expensive, considering an 18650 cell is about $4, and that's all these are. Overall, I like these products, but I wish they had used two cells in series to get a higher voltage.

Tek4 batteries are lithium ion 4-volt batteries.

the USB lithium line is so new, and yet there's already 2 different battery is a little annoying. And you have to buy the better one separately.

These tools need a direct plug so you can run them without a battery ....
