It is beyond me why KZfaq content creators play music over their voice. We came to hear you, not music. Many folks have hearing difficulties thus to understand you they must do their best tunning out your music, while at the same time do their best understanding you; frustrating.

ordered mine in UK sale today down from £169 to £119 . what i liked was ryobi demo man saying it is ok to use it as a hand wrench without damaging it to shift over tensions bolts, that sold it for me when i have seen so many others electric ratchet brake with hand use!

It’s producing more than 55 lbs/ft but you have that adapter on there which is causing some loss in torque. This tool was able to hit 72 lbs/ft tightening on ttc’s dyno was able to get one for $130 when Home Depot wouldn’t honor their online ryobi days deal and made me wait over an hour to talk to a manager. Pretty great tool over all especially when paired with the p262 impact wrench. Not much you can’t do with those two.

Naahh, you cheated a bit @3:54, just a little manual twist to help it along, not just by pressing the switch a couple of times. I don't mind this seems to be a well worth tool to add to my Ryobi collection, I love the fact that my multiple-year-old (is it over a decade even, I'm not sure when One+ came to Sweden) drill driver still works and uses the same batteries.

I'm in the ryobi family. Honestly they should have designed a battery specifically for this tool. I would love to get this tool, but that big base doesn't do it for me. If they come out with a different design, I'll reconsider.

@cmoney220
@cmoney220 Жыл бұрын
@Roof Korean yeah, but this doesn't guarantee that you can clear spaces when using. I've been in situations where I couldn't use an air ratchet, so I know I can't use this. Maybe that fat-ass bottom battery base will work for you, but it won't do for me 4 positions or not.
@viking.200

@@cmoney220 one of the big reason I bought three Milwaukee ratchets, you can use slim or bigger and more powerful batteries, all depends on if you got the space or not.

If you're gonna buy a new battery just get a Milwaukee. Ryobi has kept their 18v batteries the same for decades and it's what brings people into the family.

I've got a Ryobi angle drill from 20 years ago, similar tool but fitted with a chuck, and it has a rotating battery holder. Strange that Ryobi has decided to make the wrench adjustable rather than keeping the rotating battery since that is a better design.
@Pro1er
@Pro1er 2 жыл бұрын
Ryobi also used to make a blue angle grinder with a rotating battery holder which makes a lot more sense. I"d be willing to bet it"s a cost savings decision to have the head rotate instead of the battery. Ryobi is always...always looking for ways to shave a half-cent off of a product for bigger profits.
@deeeyewhy5949
@deeeyewhy5949 Жыл бұрын
What’s the difference? Either way the battery rotates. I think having the head rotate is a better design. More efficient use of materials.

@@eugenevalentine925 yeah seriously. I’m in love with those new wrench sets. But each set is like $120 for $15 pieces which is ok. $240-ish for both SAE and Metric. Just picked up that same combo, (this ratchet, 3/8" HP impact @ 160 ft lbs torque, 1.5ah battery, smart charger). They also have a kit w/ this ratchet, the Ryobi P262 1/2" impact wrench - 450ish ft lbs tightening torque, 600 ft lbs breakaway - I believe a 2ah battery & charger for $239.....if I didn't already have Rigid's comparable, (slightly more powerful) Octane 1/2" impact wrench, I definitely would've jumped on the latter kit, instead. But either way, I was waiting for the right deal on this ratchet (had initially bought @ $159, then returned, being defiant about paying full-price, lol!), then picked up the 1/4" version, (only 40 ft lbs, so 15 ft lbs less, BUT 260 RPM vs 230 for this/the 3/8") w/ a battery & charger for $159, ($10 less than bare tool price), but was DEAD SET on owning this one, between the 2 (seen this break nuts free torqued at 65 ft lbs....that extra oomph is invaluable to me, tho this IS a nut-runner....but still...makes a difference), so FINALLY scored the deal I could live with. LOVE THIS RATCHET. Would I rather have the extended reach Milwaukee? Of course....but power on this is same, head not as bulky & I'm ALREADY invested in Ryobi (& Rigid), so as a DIYer, just can't justify the Milwaukee's price, (ntm, batteries, charger, etc). No..this bad-boy is EXACTLY what I want, need & am comfortable with, price-wise (a decision I came to after MONTHS of OBSESSIVE research, a handful of purchases of competing brands & scouring the net). THIS is, IMHO, THE BEST bang for my buck. Great video/review. THANKS! 🙏🏼 #SUBSCRIBED💯👍🏽

Bs when u broke it loose with the torque wrench the video stopped recording first but when u tighten it down with the torque wrench and then loosened it with the ryobi u didn't show us what the torque was set at on the torque wrench itself. Also u gave the ryobi wrench a manual push to help it out when it wouldn't brake the nut loose itself. Your promoting and getting paid or getting free tools. Nice try dude.
