Thanks Hoang. I placed it there so people can see the frequency response of the guitar. Let’s make a time to catch up for a coffee.

Onde eu consigo um Matsuoka M60? Moro no Brasil. Consigo receber um Matsuoka aqui? Gostaria de saber o valor e como adquirir. Esses instrumentos ainda são fabricados?

Hello Neil, so how did Matsuoka organize his No series? No1 was the most advanced or just the first historically? Cause I am seeing many and no clue how to decide without actually trying one. You see the story. Thanks a lot for your vids.

Hi Vlad, if you followed my video, you would know that the model numbers are actually the retail price of the guitars in the old days. All the number ones I’ve had were “hand made” (I’ll explain the controversy with the term hand made in a separate video) the labels are handwritten, they did not follow a chronological order, most were from the early 70’s. They look more expensive than the standard series. They sound can vary a lot too, so I would suggest you try them out or listen to them before purchasing. I always record my videos raw with my iPhone, without editing or added effects so my customer and viewers get a true representation of the tonal qualities of the guitar. I hope this helps.

Thanks for the demo Neil.. What tension of string do you use?

Hi Andre. Thanks for the comment. I use different strings tension on different guitars depending on the type of guitar. Generally speaking medium tension are easier to play and will give you longer sustain, while high tension will give you more tone variety and volume. I hope this helps.
