Thanks for this information, I've got a model 10, I bought it from a lady ( in England) it belonged to her Dad ( who was Venezuelian) she claimed he bought it in Japan about 1940 but apparently the first Yamahas were 1941. I really don't know though, what I do know is that it sounds great and cost me only £50!

I think it's called dynamic guitar because you can use either nylon or steel strings

Very informative video there's not much known about this guitar. I recently purchased a tokai dynamic guitar, what exactly did you do with the saddle? I'm trying to lower the action.

It depends on the individual guitars. On some guitars I have to shave the bridge, on others is just a matter of replacing the saddle.
