Thank you, this video was very helpful for my 2021 F250! The only problem I had was with AC not cooling after install. As it turns out, you DO have to disconnect batteries for at least 2 hours (it’s in the sb instructions). After I did that , everything works great again!!

39 % better flow at the expense of letting fine dust into your engine. Those filters don't capture the fine dust like the factory filter does. So if you have a pavement queen it might not matter as much. If your truck worked off road, fine dust is getting into your engine which shortens it's life. Low restriction filters flow more air at the cost of let fine dust through. If you want better flow, use the 7.3/6.2 factory gas filter in the diesel factory box. I noticed the poorly addressed upper inlet connection which surely lets in hot air into the box. That corner is highly susceptible to hot engine compartment air which kills horsepower.

What are the gains for this kit? Better flow? HP and Torque? The stock system is already a cold air intake with a huge 2 stage filter. Looks cool though but $450 cool?

why do you need to disconnect the battery?? I have installed lots of cold air intake kits over the years and have never done that before..
