Vaginal health will affect a woman’s entire being, not just the body. Yeast infections, ph balance issues, PCOS, STDs, and any general irritations will have great affects on a woman’s psyche and mood.
Doctor Monique Brown and Netania stopped by to debunk some myths and misconceptions about the overall vaginal health.
It’s imperative that both men and women unlearn and relearn about this topic to help improve the lives of women.

I love this because i am living this right now with my Pcos in my adult stage. i had to do my research and did what worked for me. This thing has brought me to depression and back. I've been doing laser for 5 years ,it only slow it down. My last results will be electrolysis. Sigh. I'm praying everyday for a miracle or a cure for this. Great interview

I would like to add that water alone isn't sometimes sufficient enough to clean between your lips because the body produces natural oils in that area And water alone can not remove those oils

For me, birth control caused me to have PCOS symptoms... I had the cyst in the ovaries and facial hair on the birth control and after I came off the cyst disappeared... As a matter of fact when I researched the birth control brand and a side effect was cyst in the ovaries!

And especially the point where Nets said Doctors prescribe birth control as the first option when you just finding out, it’s really true cause it’s exactly what I’m experiencing. First thing they wanna do is put u on birth control for months. And I found out this from 2017 and since then it’s always some sort of birth control they wanna prescribe

As much as how birth control is looked down, on your birth control should be taken in a control method given they're multiple factors on an individual basis. Once there is an issue, you should be speak with your doctor for other alternatives. Ladies when cleaning your vagina please use the method clean to dirty as in, you wipe from front to back. Kareem I'm glad you touched on this topic.

When I found out I had PCOS, I was prescribed birth control- listen, it was the WORST three months of my life. I gained weight, I got acne and facial hair. I was depressed, weepy and overall an impossible person to be around. It didn’t even help to regulate my period, it made it worse and made me nauseous everyday I was in it. It took months for me to get my weight down and get rid of the acne. 10000000/10 do not recommend.

I too was put on birth controls for PCOS and I did that for a month or very inconsistently until I just gave up that method. What I do now? Nothing besides watch my diet.

@@antoniaPrince that’s what I did too, change my diet, and do light exercises. I realized that my period is now regulated as opposed to when I was on the pill.

I am guilty of the garlic🤦‍♂️,all I can tell you it burn nuh hell, and then my vagina smell like it season.🤣🤣🤣🤣. Smh. Now I use it more regular in my diet,I used to have bad yeast infection,not anymore though.
