Dimash is so extraordinarily amazing. After The Singer competition he lived in China & performed all kinds of concerts in various cities, modelled designer clothes all the while learning to sing more & more Chinese songs, being homesick & always busy. It must have been really tough not knowing the language, having to go through interpreters & translators & learning how to get around by subways. I think it was a lot but he handled everything like a trooper & persevered. I think he is still in contract with BG Talent so as soon as he is able he will be going back to China to perform concerts. Italy is waiting & every country is beckoning Dimash. We all want him to come & do concerts. Thank you Sabina. 🤗😍❤️🥰🇨🇦

As other dears have explained to you about this song already so I will not repeat myself. You should noticed that in the first video, the people you saw are mostly famous Chinese singers and Dimash just came into Chinese Market in 2017 and won best foreign singer and even best singer in Beijing, Shanghai or other cities . Understandable that there was envy! He also won in 2018 and just won in 2020 this June. I love the songs and both songs have been performed in his Bastau concert. He was envied by many Russian top singers too, mind you! He won the best singer in “ classical “ category for the song “ Olimpico “ and so was Igor as composer. . Won best “new comer or discovery “ for the song “ love of tired swan “ and so did the gentlemen who wrote the lyric for this song . On top of that he won the best singer, either voted by his peers or musical institution, etc , I forgot . But I did watch all these ceremonies early this year. And during Covid 19 before his birthday, he won the best singer for song cover in” love of tired swan “ and so did Igor as composer but no ceremony can be held because of the situation. Even his Master degree graduation has to be held on line . Just for your information he is accepted to proceed for his doctorate degree. So he will be extremely busy not only with concerts, performances( which he has a lots especially in China) learning English and Mandarin, and study for his doctorate degree. Just cannot imagine how, how -. Sorry to be off the topic but envy is every where but otherwise Chinese dears are so nice and very thoughtful about Dimash’s health , etc . Lovely to see that,.

Yes I agree, that interview felt very awkward ... a lot of them in China are of course, due to the culture differences and because Di is so nervous when he doesn't know what's happening (understandably!). It looked like Di wanted take it a bit off track when he put his arm around the guy next to him and asked him if he wanted to learn Kazakh... taking it to a familiar place for him ... but they just hustled him through their program as they looked like they were pressed for time. I've seen hours of footage now of Di on these kind of chinese shows and they are so entertaining in what they get Di to do and say ... insanely funny some of them! If you want any links let me know. This song was originally written by family friend / uncle Lukpan and Dimash sang it when he was much younger at one of Lukpan's concerts in Kazakhstan. It is called KIM EKIN in Kazakh - The Crown is virtually the same song in Chinese. I can see your channel is growing in leaps & bounds & I'm so happy for you! I totally understand that it's impossible now to comment and reply to everyone. Sabina, this song was composed by Dimash godfather Lukpan Zholsasav for Dimash. He is older and Dimash was always with him together when he was younger. A very good family friend. They meet always, when Dimash is in Kazakhstan. He first sang this song in kazakh. It's called "Kim eken" which means "without you". The crown is the chinese version of this song.

Hello dear Sabina. I already knew the music of the concerts, but I had not seen that first video (I had seen the second video that you posted). Dimash is really cute in interviews and a perfect gentleman always. How affectionate at the time of the photo. The Crown is beautiful and deep. A beautiful way to sing. And My Star is very vibrant. At concerts it gives goosebumps with the performance together with the dancers. He gets electric, interacting a lot with the audience. Kisses ... see you soon. Love You Forever.

Both songs, Crown and My star, are written by the Kazakh composer, Lukpan Zholdasov, he is the close friend of Dimash’s family. Dimash sings some other his songs: Neverland, Kazakhstan, Moonlight mama and some others.

Hell yeah !!! The crown is one of my top 5 Dimash songs and that's very very hard place to earn .

Great reaction to 2 super performances by Dimash, though like you I thought the last version was the best. Of course audiences differ especially in Russia and China where they can be very reserved. However his major concerts are completely different as you will find out when you go to see him. One Dear who went to his Barclays Center concert in New York said she thought when he first appeared on stage that the noise was so loud she thought the roof would Blow off. Dimash's vocal flexibility was on full display in these performances. Those quick upward staccato runs blow my mind every time! Anyone can slide quickly, but *staccato?* It's just nuts. In both cases, the venues were nothing to compare with Dimash's larger concerts. I think we're seeing again the evidence that he was taking just about any paying job he could find during his years in China. Who can blame him? He probably had student debt to pay off, and to realize his longer-term ambitions, he would need funds to pay the vast horde of stage managers and stagehands, musicians, singers, translators, schedulers, travel agents, consultants, dance teachers, and who knows what else. It must have worked, because his later concerts have been off-the-wall amazing. So, Sabina, did the Chinese host at the fashion show convince you to hurry into the kitchen? I don't think those guys have heard much about feminism yet.

"The Crown" was originally a Kazakh song called "Kim Aken". The lyrics were very different. He used to sing it in Kazakh, then it was changed into Mandarin lyrics for some reason.

The guy in the white that kept pretending to know what Dimash was saying was in the Singer completion with him. He wasn't competing. Wayne Zhang is his name and he was the Music Partner for the singer Tan Jing. So, Dimash and Wayne Zhang knew each other very well and are friends. Funny enough, I believe Wayne Zhang was also the host of the show "Choose a Big Star". He's actually a pretty funny guy and a natural at hosting although the awards show you first showed it was a little awkward. Aw well it was still good LOL

Dimash is so reserved and he thinks a lot before answering. In the first video, he was there without a translator. Then they found one to help. I think the interviewers at China look friendly and funny, they always talk about to find a girlfriend for him.
