The lost Rhoades mine was found by Dave Bullocks dad and grandfather. They saw all the gold that was inside the Sacred Ute Indian Gold Mine they found, pure gold, they even brought out a big chunk of it. What happened next was right out of the twilight zone. Duchesne River near the 35 is at the very bottom end of Rock Creek. Now, if that is your starting point, you follow Rock Creek up quite a ways from there, the only lake to the right of Rock Creek as indicated on the Buckskin Map (with a road nearby) is Bear Lake. Next possible lake north, now filled in with a large leveled off area is the Upper Stillwater Reservoir. Rock Creek heads north of the reservoir and also branches off below the reservoir to the left (looking at Google Maps) and becomes South Fork, which leads into some very rugged terrain with an unnamed lake up a ways on the very right of the creek...but no roads follow South Fork out there. Rock Creek north of the reservoir also leads into some very rugged terrain and no roads are visible out there. The mine would have to be either around the reservoir (could have been a lake at one time) or Bear Lake areas? There also appears to be a geologic feature (fault?) between Bear Lake and Rock Creek...? This would be right in the middle of Uintah Territory.

Having owned Bullocks find for a few years( in the past ) I can attest to the ( probable ) accuracy of this account ! Maybe this time , the true discovery ( and ownership ) will be belatedly recognized ! I have performed transmit and receive analysis from north of vernal to Woods Cross ( also on Hoyt Peak ) . The rest of the story has yet to be disclosed . But , it is a large and interesting story . I wish total success for those involved - just perform recovery as the Spanish did - keep it clean, keep it small , and help all in need of help ( the truly needy ).👍

This is the third story I've heard about somebody actually finding the Lost Rhodes gold mine. Either they're all true and all three parties happened to find the mine independent of one another, or they're all blowing smoke. One has to ask why nobody has taken photos/video of inside of the mine? One could easily do that without divulging the mine's location, but there's always some convenient reason why that hasn't been done.

That amount of gold would make more than 4 rings. Ive made a ring from solid gold. It is 10 grams and passes 24k scratch test... aaand it is not a small ring...

All that gold is better off feeding hungry people and children then it is sitting in a mountain! People are selfish and are already well to do so they seal up something so wonderful. The church used the gold for them and their statues, meanwhile taking your tithing money
