Oh...yes, the pain is absolutely real, I can, after a year of losing my Rex-dog, cry at the drop of a hat over his death. They are family, and normal people mourn the loss of family, four legged or two. Keep the videos coming, no matter the content, you all have been missed!

It was the video of your trip to Angle Tarn that got me into wild camping so although I never met Marley I'll remember him for a long time. Watching all your videos we can see he had a rich life and you should be proud indeed. In time little things about him will pop up and you will only remember the good things. 18 years on and I still find little reminders about my dog that take me back to the good times. Bless you all.

Dear Austin and Lucy, I am so sorry to hear that your beautiful crazy little beastie is gone. I had to put my beautiful Doberman of 13 1/2 down five months ago. It is NOT just a dog , despite what others may say. I miss my Ilsa every day, but it gets easier as the weeks pass. I am praying for you both. These are trying times, but it will get better. Big Respect, I cried like a baby; twice in 2 years 2015 and 2017, when I lost 2 twin brother cats. I had them from 2010 and until 2015 and 2017. Aged 15 and 17 1/2. He will always be with you mate, youll smell a smell and it will remind you of him or hear something. The pain will pass, and the result will be you having a guardian angle with you forever. On of the hardest things loosing your furry best friend, sadly dying in his sleep which perhaps was a blessing in some ways. If its a any help a least you had a good innings with your boy, I miss my Black Lab I had for 10 years, he died in my arms but I had the best 10 years and have lots of good memories and photos, walking, camping, canoeing he was always there. To see him ahead of you on your walks checking the route ahead as if he was point man looking out for your safety watching out for you, waiting for you to catch up before he pushed on to do the same again. If it was not for Marley we would have never meet, it was him i noticed from your video's that first day in the Brecon Beacons. So many good times out camping with that dog and the energy he had was crazy. That dog had more adventures than Lassie and The Littlest Hobo rolled into one and will be missed ❤️

Heart breaking I lost my beautiful Staffie cross Sadie a year next month to cancer and like you it broke me as she was my mountain girl and precious to me, she went everywhere with me in the hills and pretty much slept on every mountain in Wales over the 11yrs we had her, thankfully we found our new little girl 6 months ago through the Dogs Trust so another rescued Staffie as Sadie was and has helped so much with recovery as you simply feel empty. things will get easier but what got me to a better place was my new little girl Pippy, take care of yourselves Marley was a real special part of your family, you will get there eventually!

Absolutely gutted for ya. When I lost my Lab, it broke me. Left a big hole in our family. I hope the sadness passes soon because you'll be left with happy memories. All the best and thanks for the channel.

Oh no, such sad news. Boy do I know how you are feeling right now Austin. Phew it hurts like hell, I have lost several wonderful dogs and it never gets easier. Still chokes me even now. Bless him, Marley sure was a character. Him going in his sleep was calm plus you did get to say goodbye to him in a way. I have had to have three dogs put to sleep and its a dreadful thing to do even when you know you're stopping their suffering. The pain will ease but it never goes away. You have some great memories and in the months coming you will look back at the videos and have a smile on your face mate. As for him only being a dog like some may say? Well they are companions, buddies, someone to talk to that don't argue back, they are a reason to go out in the cold and rain when you would rather stay indoors, they make you laugh, they make you cry, they give their love without conditions, they have your back, they never complain even when they are in pain, they are simply .....your best friend. We are so sad to watch your video and hear about the rubbish time your having. We have enjoyed seeing all your adventures and how much Marley enjoyed himself. In time you will be able to look back at the lovely memories of him. Jo saw Lucy in Tesco a few weeks ago but not to talk to. Once all this madness has passed maybe we can all have a weekend away in our vans and have a few drinks.
