Helluva salsa recipe. I was thinking of growing a salsa garden and this recipe looks like a winner. Thank you.

For a better taste use fresh Garlic not the chopped /minced garlic from bottle. I have tried to to do a fast quick boil of the tomatoes(throw in boiling water for 1.5 mins) peel skin off instead of raw and tastes nicer. If you fire roast it even better. My 2 cents.

I have tried several salsa recipes from KZfaq and this one is my favorite so far. Its a good way to use up all the extra tomatoes I have from this season. I could never eat them all, or give away enough. Thanks for the recipe)

Hi! I looks like a nice salsa recipe. In mexico we use a lime press to squeeze the limes and it's easier so I recommend you getting one 😊

Are you from Texas? That accent tells me yes! I've finally learned how to grow a good batch of tomatoes in my raised bed gardens....and am beginning to get a good amount of production, before the north TX heat shuts the plants down this summer. Great simple recipe! We will make some hot sauce today!! Thanks

If you're going to DESEED a jalapeno, you might as well as use a bell pepper. 😂

O man that looks great. If you had one of those tools used to squeeze the lime with it would be easier.

Like a/thing else, "To each their own". Some roast the tomatoes, use lemons vs limes, remove the cilantro stems vs leave them on, sweet onions vs red, served room temp vs chilled, etc... It sounds good though with how you make it.

World renowned chef Paul Prudholm explained how using a blender / food processor to do this imparts a bitter flavor caused by the speed of the blades impacting the cells of the vegetables. From his bestselling book Louisiana Kitchen.

I really liked your video! I’m not sure I was thinking trying to make some but they sell some at the store that’s really good fresh style salsa and it’s like $4 I bet this recipe is almost double that cost or am I wrong?

There is no correct way to make Salsa. Cooking is an art and should not be about robotically following recipes. Once the principles of cooking are learned to a point of knowing how to control the process, you can make food the way you like it. david

If you intend to serve your food to guests, I recommend not using the same spoons for tasting and stirring. Scoop up some food with the stirring tool and drop it in the tasting one.
