what's the best way to make sure you don't get scaling with salt pool? just making sure the pH is in check?

Maintain the TA at 80-120 ppm and the pH 7.2-7.6 and no higher. Scaling happens with high sustained calcium hardness and high sustained pH. Thanks for watching.

Shocking a pool is only needed in certain circumstances. If the FC is maintained, that's more than enough to kill the organic matter in the pool for normal maintenance. Thanks for watching.
