I found these sweet little tables at the thrift store. I didn’t know which direction this makeover would take but I’m really happy with the end result!

I love that you take on the most hopeless looking furniture and make it look better than new. You make it look so easy when I wouldn't know where to start with those rickety things. I was shocked when you fearlessly drilled such big dowel holes in those slender legs, I for sure thought there wasn't enough wood left to make it a stable connection, but it worked perfectly. I always assume a piece has to be repaired in the same way it was built, but you know how to build it better. Thanks for sharing your brilliant work!

I’m always truly shocked by the transformation. Whenever you start off initially, I’m always a smidge skeptical since the pieces look either dated, or too far gone. However you work your wonderful magic, and something amazing and beautiful always comes out of it. ❤

I can’t believe 6 days ago you did this. Apparently I wasn’t notified. I hit the bell when I subscribed your channel. Oh well, I’m here now n happy to see this video. Katie I’m thrilled you didn’t decide to paint. I think you did an amazing job on these sweet tables. You did far better at them than when they were originally done. Love the idea you using the dowels. It definitely made them far sturdier. I love Fusion paint n really like that color stain you used. ( I’m definitely gonna try it). At one time I had a table like the bigger one. Mine was made out of oak n back in early 1900’s they called them parlor tables. They we’re mostly used to place a plant on them in the parlor. Yours are so beautiful now. Your hard work is much appreciated. ♥️♥️😊👍👍🌟🌟

My goodness Katie !! Thanks to you I just completed refurbishing our old table (by old I mean out first purchase when we got out first home - so 35 years old!)! Really Katie it was a lot of work!! Phew!! It makes me sooo much more in awe 🤩 of every piece that you do. Those little tables are amazing ! I have a question …. How do you not get very fine dust settle on the top surface while drying ??I tried applying with a fine rag, using a really good brush and rolling with a foam roller ….. and between each coat a very fine sand with 250 grit sandpaper. Wiping down in between with a damp cloth and allowing to dry. Many coats later …. I now put up with a few imperfections …. Still way better than what she was, but the inner perfectionist in me wants to do better! One of the staff at the paint store suggested drying it vertical position so as not to allow dust to settle? What do you do? Lots of love and admiration from Deb (do we have more dust in Australia? Haha! 😳🤔)
