When I was 12, Bond was the most exciting thing in the world. Around this time I saw the first Rocky film, which was amazing. I tried to watch. Captain America, Winter Soldier the other day, and after 3 sittings have not yet been able to get through it. I can only imagine that the males watching this are making an emotional connection to the characters. I have lost the ability to do that. My Dad is in his mid 80s, and he helped me frame up my garage addition on my house plus my large shop addition and he helped me roof it... I'm in my late 40s and can hardly pick things up off the floor! He stayed healthy as he aged. Eating good food and keeping the mind and body active, and I am super thankful he is still around to see his great grandkids. We love him very much.

You are right. When he played Judge Dredd, the movie was campy and whatnot, but it was when his character was placed in hard times that no matter how campy the story, it showed how good he is. But then you have this, and it clearly demonstrates how good he is, considering that he too had some hard times in his life, so I think he projects that a lot in downed characters that he plays.
