I apologize if this is a dumb question, What's the difference between the Q6ct and the Q60t. And if you would have an opinion which one is the better option. I'd like to have a good quality sound bar.

Do you know the screw size for the screws that attach to the bottom of the soundbar? The manual says M5 35mm but that's the recommended screw size to attach the brackets to the wall.

Need your help! When this Soundbar is hooked up HDMI ARC and acts as an AV it has lip sync issues. When it acts as a receiver it doesn't. I had it act as a receiver last night and now I can't. Any help? Thanks

I've just purchased this soundbar and using it with a LG CX via hdmi arc, however I get times when the sound drops off. It might comeback on randomly hours later or at times if I disconnect all the connections and reconnect everything. The bar seems to be connected to the TV as volume indication still goes through the sound bar just no sound. If anyone can advise it will much appreciated and thanks in advance.

I just bought this to go with the Samsung Q60T series 65" QLED TV.... It has this thing that can only happen when both are connected together.... I think it's called Symphony something... Still learning all of it

I'm jealous! I could only afford a cheap Samsung TV with my soundbar. I heard the symphony thing is cool! Uses your TV speakers as part of the surround setup.

@@ajspice I actually took back the Q60T TV, found out it didn't have HDMI 2.1, so I got the Q80T and damn is it night and day from the Q60.... also with the sound bar, I like to turn it up and it also has a subwoofer so I really enjoy the bass, so I have my TV speakers turned off cause they'd blow. The symphony feature is unique and does give what your watching a upgrade for sure. Only thing, you need to make sure you are using the correct sound, like surround, Dolby, standard and so on. Once you figure out which works best with what it's amazing! The Q80T has HDMI 2.1 and can run 120fps

@@steelcity4123 Oh I'll bet it rocks! I luckily have had good luck with my QT60. I suspect that you're are right about the correct HDMI cable. I think the .1 is what carries the codecs.

How do i set it up so i can play stuff from say my ps5 or firestick and have the audio come through the sound bar?? I must be missing something, i can connect my phone to the soundbar but when i play stuff on the ps5 it just plays through tv speakers

I installed my soundboard and it works with the TV. But when I use KZfaq I am not getting any sound from the sound bar. It is picking up sound from Netflix when I turn that on. Any info that would help fix this issue?

Love this soundbar BUT ... I have mine connected with an HDMI cable. I've noticed several channels where there is a delay between the spoken dialogue and the sound emitted from the soundbar. In other words, the actors lips move but there's like a second delay. Is there a setting I'm missing??

Theres a sync setting when hitting the little cog button You can see it say "AUD" before it scrolls into "AUDIO SYNC" and you can delay the audio more or less. But I haven't had a problem so I haven't messed with it

Can you upgrade the subwoofer? I have thus setup and wish the woofer was much better. Its not a huge difference with or without it on. I want more but cant afford a whole new system right now.

Nope. Subwoofer is BT only. No aux outputs on the soundbar. You'll be hard pressed to find ANY soundbars with that feature.

I have a Samsung QN65Q80RAFXZA AND THE HW-Q6CR sound bar and subwoofer. I can not get the subwoofer to recognize the sound bar. The blue light on the subwoofer blinks constantly. I have unplugged both the sound bar and subwoofer and still can’t get them to connect. I am using the optical cable that came with. Please help

No, you cannot pair a second active subwoofer from another brand to a soundbar system. Sound bars have weaknesses in terms of wanting to upgrade. You are stocked and must upgrade using the maker of the soundbar. The system has high mid bass and treble but lacking in impactful, concussive, and jaw dropping bass. If you want to have freedom then do not go for soundbar system. Instead buy an av receiver, a set of bookshelf speakers, a centre speaker and a quality 12" subwoofer. Sounds expensive? You'll be paying nearly (if not more) the same for a quality soundbar system.

I have a Samsung soundbar Q600A. Soundbar remote WILL NOT change the volume or woofer volume. The menu on the soundbar will show a number representing what that volume is currently set at, then less then 2 seconds later say TV ARC. The volume works on my tv remote but I cannot access my woofer options from there requiring me to need to use the sound bar remote. I’ve currently got the soundbar connected to the hdmi (arc) on the tv. I am asking this because I need to be able to change my woofer settings, How do I fix this?

Same. Let me know. I tried via Optical audio as well and nothing. It does work via Bluetooth to phone though so there's that. What model TV do you have ?

@@venomdude123 You need to hard reset the sound system, that's what Samsung told me to do however I forgot exactly what to push it may be hold down the power button or hold down and volume up once it's reset things should go back to normal.

I have an LG and it works. Any TV will work you just won't get the Symphony Q setting. Only works when connected to a Samsung TV. Not a bad bar sounds good just needs more bass.

@@kuriakos36 it will work with any TV. It gives you 1 additional setting if you have a Samsung TV. Not a big deal. When I don't have it on it sounds bad now so I keep it on all the time. You won't be sorry.

Hdmi to the TV arc port. Then use the source button on the soundbar to select d.in it should change to hdmi arc and be controlled by the tv

@@TellyDan 🤔 Yes hdmi in the arc. I have that one and a wire to power supply. Is it possible the hdmi is faulty or has a short?? My son n law has it back going just hope it lasts. I did order a new hdmi cord from Samsung for that soundbar. Only complaint from me on this unit is why didn't it come with two subs?? I mean it hits hard bass wise but one more would be incredible.

You have to use the remote that comes with it. I believe that's the only way. Lose that thing and well... Id also recomend turning up bass and treble on the soundbar. I usually keep the bass around 4 and treble around 6. If I'm listening to music I have the bass and treble maxed out, same if I'm playing a horror game or something. I also usually leave the subwoofer turned up to 6 just because I love the ambience it adds to the room.

Hi all, hoping someone can help with this. So I just purchased the Q60T which is replacing my old HW-F550 2.1 soundbar. On my old soundbar it was extremely powerful and loud, I could set the volume to 13 and no more as it would be too loud. On the new Q60T I have to set the sound volume at 20 to get decent sound/volume to be on par with the previous soundbar I had. After speaking with Samsung support, resetting the new soundbar, trying different cables, I connected my galaxy s10 to the soundbar via Bluetooth with no hdmi connected and the sound volume was exactly like it was on my old soundbar, any louder than 13 and it was really loud. So I thought great it works perfect via my S10 but not through hdmi to the TV, my TV is 1yr old 55" series 7 4k Samsung so I don't get why the sound is so awful when connected to hdmi but not via Bluetooth. Anyone with this same soundbar have any issues like this and any resolution/fixes? Thanks

@@gman8154 I had mine at 20 last night and it wasn’t that loud. I am going to keep as I just returned my Sony sound bar for the Samsung. I bought all new Sony tv for my place and thought I’d get the Sony sound bar but I had to turn Sony Sound Bar up to 53 to even hear it.

What should I expect from the subwoofer? I bought this soundbar today and the subwoofer is connected to the bar. The light is blue, but I don't hear any sound coming out of it. Also no bass on any vibration. Try to reset, and connected again. A blue light. But know sound. Well extremely vagely. But it on +6 with the woofer button, but nothing helps. No difference between -12 and +6

Im experiencing the same exact thing that you just explained. I purchased the samsung hw-t410 and did everything i was supposed to do. I spent hrs trying to get the subwoofer to work but its very very low and faint. The sound bar works great but the woofer has nothing going on with it and its completely frustrating and disappointing. Im close to returning it at this point.

@@rafikesvani1403 i had ended up returning it and getting the T50M instead. Im more satisfied with this one more than that one. You can notice more base and the bar is still clear. Noticeably louder ill say. Consider and upgrade guys because that one isnt gonna do good.

The woofer connects wirelessly directly to the sound bar ie like Bluetooth . It does not need wifi.

i just got it, and noticed the same it seems to be DTS virtual X that kills the bass. The normal surround mode instead gives lows a boost. im going to keep DTS virtual x off for now

@@S_King117 yep, its one of the sound modes and supposed to be brilliant from what i understand an a selling point. I was excited about it so went straight to it.. but has zero bass or thud.. i switched it to normal surround and that thump came back.. still not as good as my old jbl 2.1 for bass but the overall its much better sound wise and some of the low warm sound returns when DTS Virrtual X is switched to another sound mode. To me dts virtual x sounds hollow and echo like. im pretty disappointed as ive only heard good things about dts virtual x but more marketing junk...

I absolutely would not buy Samsung soundbars. At about the 1 year, 2 month mark the adapter died. They charge $346.53 for a new adaptor. When I bought this on sale, it cost about $549.99. So for 1/8th of the system (roughly), they will try to charge you 3/4th of the original purchase cost. DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG. imo.

I am not impressed with this at ALL, I've got klipsche speakers from 2004 that blow this out of the water as far as a surrounding system... its weak. I would get klipshce or bose or jbl. Samsung isn't a good sound company

I disagree. I think this system is great for the money! Now of course, you have to understand that most soundbars aren't going to sound like larger speakers, but mine easily fills the room. Listen, if you want a soundbar that will blow your mind get a Sonos. They are out of this world! Bose is a good option too. I like my Samsung because its sleek. Plus football sounds amazeballs!
