@@trifonovfan9819 Personally, I prefer Bruce’s style to Trifonov’s. I find Bruce more delicate and gentle, in a way, and Trifonov more masculine and powerful. However, knowing you’re a “Trifonov fan”, I absolutely 100% respect your opinion! Both are amazing pianists without a doubt.

Very beatiful and fresh Tchaikovsky by Bruce Liu and I would say, the solos of the concert master and the solo cellist were exceptionally good 👏👏👏

I wonder if we all watch the same interview or really listen what he says. He clearly said that he didn’t want to play Tchaikovsky no 1 so chose no 2… And in his other interviews, he has said repeatedly that he wants to discover less known composers. I hope he pursues different composers and less overplayed pieces (with young and innovative conductors that would get him) instead of oversaturated works like Rachmaninoff concertos.
