I only wish I had more time to spend in Sarajevo. An amazing city surrounded by mountains and a welcoming culture. Unfortunately my time in Sarajevo had to be shorter than I intended, but I will visit again. Also if you find yourself going there then spend some time at Haris Youth Hostle. Haris is welcoming and awesome. He made a BBQ for everyone at his own expense on my last night there.
Make time to ride the gondola to see the old Olympic ruins. Walk through the Turkish market. Eat traditional Bosnian sausages and bread. So delicious. I found the locals to be super friendly and go out of their way to help tourists. except the cops . They are still jerks there too. As a tourist you are a target for the police. They will try to fine you, or find any way to take your money. Remember, never offer a bribe, wait till they ask for it...
