I still feel you’re really under selling resin research. It’s ridiculously strong. 2050 is the go-to here. 11,200 psi tensile strength is amazing. My old go-to was an aerospace resin for space shuttles and aircraft’s. Though it has a much higher heat resistance, it and nothing else we’ve tried has the physical cured properties of RR 2050. Best part is it’s very affordable, but that’s just a bonus. You can take a resin puck and chuck it at the ground and it stays intact, most others shatter.

Good video. I’ve watched most all of yours, as well as others. I like your style, you speak very well. A series is a good idea. With the basics then do projects to show the different uses of materials,how and why they are used. Some rough cost estimates for each project would be nice as well. I’ll be watching to see what you already have planned. Keep it up. I appreciate it.

Thanks for the video and the safety tips! Some additional things I've read is use skin cream and/or cotton gloves below the nitril gloves. This might also be more comfortable. And wash the clothes you sand with after each use.

I appreciate your video! You do a good job of explaining the process in all your videos. I do have a question and I am sure this was asked but when using fiberglass for the mold do you use the same resin as you do for the carbon fiber??
