Oh man that looks fun! Taking a break and remodeling is a new favorite of mine. Cheers! Love seeing the dirty closet. Makes me feel better about my small crowded space with no storage. Also… let me get that sign! I’ll drive out!

Well done sir! It's a good problem to have, plenty of extra hardware. Also, I got a little fan just like that little portable one for my wife years ago. She loves it. Very handy!

Was that customer's tape recorded on a Hi-Fi VCR? The first machine was a Hi-Fi model that gave you good sound. The next two machines in the video are monaural that use the linear track for sound. My no-longer-working 1984 Curtis Mathes KV756 recorded stereo sound on the linear tracks. When VHS switched to Hi-Fi audio heads on the drum, most machines downgraded to mono on the linear track.

Unsure. Customers vhs tapes typically are a hodgepodge of duplicate junk from camcorder tapes onto vhs using unknown VCR’s with tapes that had been used to record episodes of Dallas weekly 50 x over then 51st time was to dub Christmas Day 1988 onto.

I’m doing everything I can to avoid having employees again, for 14 years I had to babysit a group of adults and the last 4 years 1 x 1099 super star and it’s been the happiest 4 years in the biz!

when you throw your old equipment out. Do you recycle? Don’t throw it to landfill.

I leave most with AZ Electronics and they have a regular pick up.

That's good. I rebuilt my old video equipment and VCRs. They don't make Good VCRs Anymore. So I rebuild my old ones.@ories

Do you have a way to transfer tapes made with older top-load recorders with skewed heads?

Hey just curious. Do you use a TBC for tape transfers? Is it worth it really? Looking to digitize tapes and have heard different things. They cost a lot.

Hello, I have a Panasonic VCR Just like yours, it was working fine, but now it dont take a VHS, you put the vhs and He spits it out at the same time... You know if it is a easy fix? Thank you. (you inject the tape and the vcr eject the tape)

Could be one of twenty things. Find a vcr repair company or buy another one and say a prayer lol!
