Kent my good friend & Christian brother, great recipe, for folks that don't know there is a recipe for these on the outside of the box of bisquick. In place of jalapenos, we use Tennessee pride hot sausage, even tho i'm from rural Ky. We had them last week at deer camp, delicious, & can't beat Wisconsin butter & cheese. My wife (God Rest Her Soul) used to make these every holiday season and the kids and I just loved them. Well Sir this coming holiday season I'm going to make these for my kids and grand kids! They are going to love this Kent!!! Thank you and Shan for doing what you do! God Bless you guys!!!

I use an old ice cream scoop to keep the portions even. The scoop with the wiper works great.

@@kathleennorton6108 i agree ma'am, i'm a born again Christian, 57 & from rural Ky., Wisconsin is the dairy state, bar none, don't know if you know this, but you all recently were okay'd to be the only state to import butter from Ireland, & i'm Irish, so the reason was you all treat cheese/butter perfectly, so Wisconsin is the only state that Ireland will import butter to in the U.S., God bless you & yours & have a happy thanksgiving

You know he is good when his appetizers are better than some people's complete meals. Love the dogs looking up to see what is going on. If the dogs are that interested in it you know its going to be good, Dogs are very good judges of people and food. I saw a sticker on a truck "If my dog doesn't like you I probably won't either"

I learned to make these 42 years ago when as a kid I went to work for a company that sold them. I sometimes flatten the balls to like a palm sized biscuit, so people can slice them open and eats them with homemade apple butter or milk gravy. During Christmas, I keep a large batch of these in the freezer, (they freeze great), and that way no one is ever more than a half hour away from having one if they want it.
