This a lovely pasta sauce that we have been making for years , the carrots make a lovely rich sauce with the sausages . If you have a food processor that is great for the carrot otherwise you have to hand grate them which is a little time consuming.lovely supper dish during the week.

Looks scrumptious, Susie. I had a lazy day today and defrosted and heated some Italian meatballs in tomato and basil sauce (made them with turkey mince as a lot lighter than beef) which I made last month and had frozen them in batches. Just had to heat them in microwave and make some spaghetti.

Hi Kathryn that’s what I love to do make enough to freeze and pull out when you need it . I must try minced turkey it is such a healthy meat ! I love roast Turkey so I will get round to trying some dishes with it . Wish I was having a lazy day !! Mine is a crazy day ! Lawns to cut and housework piling up 😂😂 xxxxx

@@cookingwithsusie Yes, it is healthier. I did some gardening today too, as here in Cheshire we've had loads of rain and the weeds have come back 😡 But today was warm and sunny so quite enjoyed it.
