Maybe the end scene will show Hoffman and Daniel talking about finding his dad and Hoffman just grinning and knowing what he will do in saw 4

I think the twist or part of the twist is that Adam survived: 1. That one producer in an interview mentioned it takes place weeks after Saw 1 (which would be the time Adam would have to be rescued before he dies of starvation). 2. The small part of the behind the scenes feature where John and Amanda are holding each other crying and John says 'Everybody deserves a chance, you should know that better than anyone.' Just like he says in Saw 3 'i cleared all your mistakes'. And what could it be they are both so emotional about? What mistakes did Amanda do apart from killing people in Saw 3 and not giving Detective Matthews a chance in Saw 2 (which both hasnt happened yet in Saw X)? Exactly, the way she treated Adam. 3. It would just make sense from a story perspective, similar to how Dr Gordon is revealed as an apprentice in Saw VII and he was the one taking care of all medical and surgical tasks, we still dont have an answer to all the amounts of photos that are taken of all test subjects, all throughout Saw 2-7. Adam was the one supplying John with the photographs. 4. Also it coincides with the decades of fan theory (there are YT videos of Adam suppsedly surviving from when the original films came out) about the wrong foot being shackled on 'Adams corpse' in both Saw 2 and Saw 7. 5. We see the bathroom in Saw X. Why else would that room be so important to show us ('weeks after the events of Saw 1') We already know what happened to Dr Gordon and there was only one person left in the room. Adam.

Personally I've always had it in my mind that Daniel became a lawyer after realizing his dad planted evidence on those other victims. Maybe even take on cases of police brutality. But if we're talking theories I have one that ties in the deleted plot of Saw 3. In the deleted plot line John would be on his death bed regretting the traps he made. What if Saw X has something similar? Maybe after being fooled into thinking he was cured John was actually considering living a normal life and we see a glimpse of that. Then once he hears the bad news he would be pushed over the edge and become the Jigsaw we know. If we're gonna see the human side to John it would be him not focusing on his traps and just being a regular person.

About Adam, you do see Amanda strangle Adam to death in i think saw 3, when kramer says something about the reason why she is tested, her will to keep people alive. It was in a flashback. Daniel and eric can return, i thought Saw X was supposed to be taking place in between saw 1 and saw 2

In Saw X I just wanna see a good story between SAW I & II. Seeing if Dr Gordon survived would be a good closure for his character. Hoffman VS. Gordon would be nice too! I’m just ready for a good SAW movie and I think SAW X is going to give us that.

In the years since the release of Jigsaw, I slowly have put together one theory on who the two pigheads in Saw 7’s ending actually were. I never bought the idea that it was two random trap victims from the 7th film that had even less screen time than any of the actual apprentices prior to their reveals (that weren’t even revealed on-screen, just said in commentary). On top of that, considering Saw 7 doesn’t even explain why Gordon joined Kramer and I still can only theorize it’s Stockholm Syndrome, I can’t think of any reason why Brad and Ryan would become assistants that doesn’t involve the “gathering survivors” idea. But there are two specific characters that I theorize are in fact the two pigheads. The one that’s more obvious to me is that one of them was Logan. We know he was an apprentice, and this line makes it clear he wasn’t at war during Saws 1-7 like many people think he was “10 years ago, I came out of the war a broken man. Jigsaw put the pieces of my life back together.” So this means his role in the earlier films is an open question and therefore if he was one of the pigheads, it lines up. He even has the motivation to go after Hoffman, his reaction to Jill’s death would be exactly like how he felt when Edgar Munsen killed his wife, so he would absolutely agree to help Gordon. So then who is the last one? Well… My theory is it’s Eleanor. So based on how she acted in Jigsaw as a fan girl and helped Logan cover up his own involvement, my theory is that she was another apprentice, and the fan girl thing was actually a coverup. Considering we know a few games had to have taken place after the Barn Game, but before Seth was killed (in order for Hoffman to know about and find a puppet to use for his fake trap), my guess is she was one of those games, she was tested and survived, Hoffman found the scene but did not report it so he could in turn use the puppet from the scene to make the tape for the Pendulum Trap. In turn, Eleanor joins because she fully appreciates John’s methods and her reasoning for going after Hoffman would be because he strayed too far away from John’s methods. Her being in on everything also fits her being Logan’s alibi as he said before killing Halloran. The overall idea is John actually had two sets of apprentices. The main duo were intended to be successors, and the other three were the observers: they would gather info on the victims (explaining the photos, perhaps) and watch the main duo, let them be tested as apprentices, and if they survived and strayed away from John’s methods too much still, act on his behalf. This in turn ties in the line in Gordon’s tape “I will keep no more secrets from you,” the implication possibly being that John reveals these two to Gordon because he knew how hard it would be to stop Hoffman if he got out of control. The idea is the only one who knew about these three was John, other than possibly Jill since my guess is she probably knew about Gordon being an apprentice. This all may seem far-fetched, but it fits together with the current films, if it was ever used the twist would be right at home with the series, and if Saw X doesn’t reveal any new apprentices and Jigsaw never gets a sequel… this theory still works. Edit: After seeing Saw X, twice, this theory still works.

The whole in between 1 and 2 throws me off because I had 1 great way to end Saw 10... thought this would happen but yeah.... The climax ends with his "revenge " then a complete black screen for 20-30 seconds and all you hear is chains moving, hands tounching walls and all of a sudden the lights come on (que the saw theme music) and its a BIRD EYE view of SAW1 with Kramer of course in the middle and Adam and Dr. Gordan in their respective corners.

I think the Hoffman smirking idea is a bad idea. I think it would diminish Dr. Gordon and Saws actual legacy. I think he was to caught up in himself to actually know Gordon was helping out and would take away John keeping that from him. I also think Gordon will come back and the actor is just downplaying the franchise so it makes a bigger impact to fans who think he won't return. Why else would you come back for Saw 7 if he was actually done with the franchise. He will show up at the end of the movie for sure.

And if not, will we see an appearance from Obi in the future? 3) With so many apprentices and copycats floating around, wouldn't it be inevitable to see them infighting? The Saw Games perhaps? A cult of sorts? Perhaps the only way you can become initiated is if you are willing to undertake a trap?

I'd saw that Zeke only can make it back into Saw in any way if he's in Witness Protection and all current Jigsaws are aiming to kill him off because getting rid of witnesses with a decent amount of info makes sense for at least two of them.

I honestly see Amanda as the better succesor, she is different enough but still seen much more mentored, while hoffman just tries to clean up everybody. Hoffman is supposed to be dead, because he killed Jill, hoffman just lost control.. And he thought everyone that knew of it was dealt with. He didnt expect Gordon. As punishment he was to be dealt with, on Kramers behalf. Kramer tested him couple of times, but was never fully loyal, just wanted to get rid of everything that was part of his blackmail. So Gordon locked him up with no way to escape. It is how Strahm said: Everyone was supposed to die, Hoffman was supposed to be the hero. Also, i think this is why hoffman isnt mentioned alot outside of the 7 movies, assuming his body was never found (nobody knows the bathrooms location) while amanda young was found, i feel people dont know anymore that hoffman was a succesor. I do not really like him, though his method is totally different. Like in his traps someone always needed to die (Saw 6, saw 7 most noticable). But there was a way out for at least someone. This is what made Amanda interesting for me. inescapable traps. With a big admiration for Kramer. Hoffman is just a psycho and in a way takes some of the mystique away.

I don't know if anyone has already commented on this but in regards to Hoffman being superhuman, I think he could be just an example of what would have happened had Eric Matthews become an apprentice of John's. Had he learned to control his temper and patience a little better, he could have been a lot like Hoffman, albeit, with Daniel being added as a partner or helper. Both Eric and Mark have that carnal, animalistic nature and had Eric harnessed his in the same way as Mark , we could have definitely seen some really awesome scenes of macho man tension between the 2 of them but honestly, most of us fans are probably right: Hoffman just has the ultimate resourcefulness and will to live that Matthews didn't. And as John stated to William Easton in Saw 6, you can't know for sure the extent of someone's will to live and appreciation of life until they're tested so I think it's much more prominent in Hoffman. And I'm behind him all the way. Costas Mandylor is THE shit, bro!

Hoffman’s motive was VERY clear. Yes, he is the Hoffinator, but also after johns death, he simply had to clean up all his loose ends so he could escape under the radar. But once word got out, well.. we saw how that turned out

The problem with the Adam thing is he was basically dead anyways A person can't live for more than a week without clean water in some way. He had nothing. Even if that somehow didn't factor, he had no food. Can't go more than a month without that And I know people keep mentioning the bullet hole thing but that's a production error more than anything. Hell, the bathroom in 3 isn't even the same as the original. It's from Scary Movie 4(?) Don't think we gonna see Shaq or Dr Phil in any of the actual Saw movies XD The only reason this flimsy theory persists is sadly because it's easier to think that than accept he was doomed the second Amanda didn't give a care

I think the reveal in saw x is going to be that Amanda and Lynn from the third movie are sisters, and both are John's biological daughters. Which means that Jeff and Lynn's daughter is John's granddaughter and she will be the new jigsaw going forward. She will have the psycopathy for it being that her entire family were murdered.

Honestly, I don't want Daniel to come back, like he was just so young and he's probably still dealing with trauma. I just don't want him to suffer more, let's let him live "peaceful life" after what he had to go through.

the issue with Spiral was it got put on hold BC of the COVID lock-down, when they let us see movies again people weren't comfortable going back out just yet. so if they made a sequel i feel like it would do better than the first Spiral movie, but movies in theaters haven't been the same for the last couple of years box office wise

I know this is highly unlikely to happen and if anything more of a fan-fiction idea that popped in my head, but - we never see who's helping Dr. Gordon at the end of Saw: The Final Chapter and we also never see who's in the car that's driving to Eleanor when she's running from the barn. What if it were revealed that Logan was one of the people helping Dr. Gordon take Hoffman down and what if it were Doctor Gordon in the car driving to Eleanor to help Logan with his alibi? It's not completely impossible that they might know each other and it would really tie Jigsaw closer to the original storyline from the first 7 films.

I HIGHLY doubt they will follow up Saw X with a spiral continuation anytime soon... and tbh think they would be fools if they did. Saw X has been described by the director as a 'thank you' to the og saw fans and giving us what we want which was more of John and his story. I think this is secretly code for 'we know you all didn't like spiral and this is our apology' 🤣

Personally can’t stand Hoffman I think he’s a boring character compared to Amanda for example. Saw 1-3 were FAR superior to 4-6 in my opinion and I never even saw the final chapter or jigsaw because I had lost interest. Excited for X though. Also not a fan of Adam OR Hoffman being alive and especially not Adam being an apprentice.. some people have to die at a certain point or it de-values the credibility of the whole franchise
