This film has been sitting in videos folder forever and looking back I'm happy I decided not to delete it (Despite my laptop being starved for gigs).
It's a bit more scattered than my usual content, but I hope I can level with others who feel similarly. As time passes, loss arrives and it can be difficult to cope with just how short life is.
One one hand it makes you appreciate things more, on the other, it can be very sad. It's natural to want the people you love to go on living and shining forever. But, unfortunately that's not how life works. So, you just have to sit and process everything when those sad times come.
Needless to say, I am happy Buck-Tick's music was and continues to be a part of my life. I will miss Sakurai very dearly.

With the death of Atsushi and also now Heath from X Japan, i'd say this video is more than appropriate and more than topical. Thank you for this beautiful video, and your take on grief and loss of a generation of incredible artists that's now aging out - or even dying early considering both Atsushi and Heath were only in their 50's. Still had so much life in them left to give, only for both to leave so early. It's sad.

I started listening to Buck Tick only about 2 years ago and even though I didn't do much research about the band or understood all their lyrics, their songs still completely mesmerized me. Acchan had such a great stage presence, iconic looks, captivating voice, magnetic personality... I couldn't believe the heartbreaking news, and it's very true what you said about the music and these people becoming a part of your life. Because of Buck Tick now I'm listening to other VKei bands like Malice Mizer or Dir en Grey, also goth music like Bauhaus and Siouxsie and the Banshees... I'm still relatively new to the subject/subculture but I'm so glad your videos showed up on my feed, it's nice to see an active Visual Kei related channel!

Such a beautiful way of describing this feeling. It is amazing how someone you don't even can touch your soul through art. So when you lose them you mourn. Human connection is so complex.

Thank you for this video. Atsushi has been such a significant part of my life since middle school (I'm about to graduate high school now.) I still cry thinking about his passing. It really hurts, because it's not just Atsushi, but Issay, and now Heath, and it really feels not only like the deaths of these people, but the death of a movement. Atsushi especially, I always knew there was a risk he'd die before I got to see him, or before I got the chance to send a gift or a message he could see, and I'll always regret not being able to convey how much of an impact he made on me as a person. He made me a better person, he made me want to pursue music, and he will always mean the world to me. I felt when he died, and it destroyed me. During the announcement, I wasn't surprised, but I think I cried more than I ever had. I hope that, in his death, he knew how much he meant to the people in his life, and how much he meant to his fans. Sincerely, I hope the best for his family, friends, and cats.

Your videos always make me think so much deeper about certain things than I originally would have (like your Metallica Uber video). I have been looking for a word to describe the feeling some bands give me, and you described it perfectly. There are some songs and artists that touch my soul so deeply, it’s really hard to put that feeling into words. Thank you so much for your videos! I always love to see it
