That Scagg cheetah mower is at beast of a mower. The mower looks like it can cut a lot of acres. those Scagg mowers are nice. have a good weekend JD.

Agree, love my Speeco on my Kubota B2301. Handy moving the trailer and not having to get off and crank jack up and down. Have woodchipper, rototiller, and box blade also and main reason for the Speeco was not needing bushings.

You mention the spindles requiring grease. When we got our Scag I think it was a few months before you purchased yours, we had the option of getting a model with spindles that did not require greasing. They were sealed and the model was the Patriot, I think which is residential model, not commercial. We were told the greaseable should last longer, while they both just go until they don't.......

Scag's deck, although it cuts and disperses well tends to require a lot of horsepower compared to Toro decks. A 38hp Toro would have been noticeably quicker than both machines in the video in these conditions.

Toro's Turbo Force deck has always been known to offer the best power efficiency in the industry. You should try a Z-Master 4000 with MyRide. Better ride quality, and even better spindles than the 2000. I would have to side with sealed bearings, especially when paired with a good warranty which Toro offers. The 4000 series has a 5 year/1250 hour (2 year no hour limit) warranty which includes bearings because they are sealed. Toro uses good bearings that usually last the warranty period and then some. There's no way that all that grease/time spent greasing is cheaper or better than bearings that you don't have to put a dime into for that whole warranty period at a minimum. After warranty is over, if you did have to rebuild it's only like 70$ per spindle and that includes labor.
