RECIPE Braids with apples.
175 ml warm milk.
2 tablespoons sugar from the total amount (80 g).
7 g dry yeast.
Mix everything well.
From the total amount (450 g), add 3 tablespoons of flour.
Mix everything together.
Cover the yeast mixture with plastic wrap.
Leave the yeast mixture in a warm place for 15 minutes.
Add the remaining sugar.
10 g vanilla sugar.
1/4 teaspoon salt.
1 chicken egg and 1 egg white.
50 g soft butter.
Mix everything well.
Sift the remaining flour.
Knead the dough with a spatula.
Add 1 tablespoon vegetable oil.
Knead the dough with your hands.
Place the dough on the table.
Knead the dough with your hands for 3 minutes.
Form the dough into a ball.
Grease a bowl with vegetable oil.
Place the dough in a bowl.
Cover the dough with cling film.
Let the dough rise in a warm place for 40 minutes.
The dough turned out well.
Knead the dough with your hands.
Cover the dough with cling film.
Let the dough rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
For the filling:
Chop 500 g apples.
Melt 50 g butter in a pan.
Add 2 tablespoons sugar.
Mix everything together.
Roast the sugar until golden brown.
Add chopped apples.
Simmer the apples for 10 minutes.
1 teaspoon dried lemon peel.
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon.
1/2 tablespoon cornstarch.
Mix everything well.
Let the filling cool.
The dough turned out well.
Place the dough on the table.
Divide the dough into 8 parts.
Form each piece of dough into a ball.
Cover the dough balls with cling film.
Leave the dough on the work surface for 10 minutes.
Sprinkle the table with flour.
Roll out the dough ball with a rolling pin.
Place 3 teaspoons of filling on the dough.
Make slits in the dough.
Form a bun like I did.
Do the same with the remaining dough.
Repeat after me.
Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
Cover the buns with cling film.
Leave the buns in a warm place for 20 minutes.
Brush the rolls with a mixture of egg yolk and 1 tablespoon of water.
Bake the rolls in an oven preheated to 180°C for 20-25 minutes.
These are just great buns!
