or.... how to dismantle a School Bus in 7 Minutes. This was as much fun for me as it was for my kids. Best field trip ever! The grane operator saw that I had my 2 kids with me when we went to drop off some scrap metal and immediately dropped what he was doing and went and grabbed the bus. HE knew we'd appreciate it! What a guy! THANKS!

All I can say, "poor bus!! It's got no chance against that grapple!" The operator of the grapple-equipped material handler went at it with gusto. Good thing that bus couldn't feel what was happening to it.

The bus is feeling a bit crushed. The windows had a shattering experience. Call the cops--the body was ripped off. It had an uplifting experience. It was a smashing job. The operator was coming to grips with the job. The claw works in a pinch. The body had a tear-able experience. Afterwards the body was beside itself and had a split personality.

I agree it was a good bus that could be used for many different things. I mean you could put in a new engine that runs or something like that. Sell it once you have done that and you could have gotten more money from it than scrapping it.

They would never crush just for not having seatbelts. It’s because when a new bus grant money is received they have to crush the old ones because their emissions don’t meet CARB compliance.

What a waste of a perfectly good school bus so sad and they make good motor homes that was painful to watch at least it wasn't a tc2000 I don't see why they have to scrap good school buses just a sad sight there are family's that could of used that bus that have a limited income they should of taken it to an auction to raise money for the school to give the students a better education

The door is probably gonna be crushed and even if you do manage to somehow rip it open, there's gonna be sharp pieces of glass and metal everywhere, happily waiting to slice your soft flesh open. It's just not a good idea.

The best thing about tearing apart vehicles is that if they get too old, they get overheated or their engines quit or run out, then you should feel free to tatter them apart if you like. Including this bus if it has tactical issues, but you should never ever tatter apart any vehicles that still works or still needs to be fixed when they get old, even if they're abandoned because that's totally 1000% wastage of money and you would totally end up with a typical vehicle abuse. Because it's like millions of dollars worth of damage! I'm not mean or anything, but just serious about what is like to get rid of vehicles in general.
