this whole quarry using waterlogged blocks as blast shield is insane.. It actually is a genius idea to blow everything up without transporting to the top as they used to - saves a ton of time!

What if you wanted to mine for diamonds but Mojang said "You have been kicked for flying."

@@Flugs0 that's why I pretty much only play Minecraft, no other game comes even close to the level of creativity that Minecraft offers. Sometimes I try playing something else but I get bored pretty quickly and get back into thinking about blocks

The best part about Tunnelbores is how spectacularly the fail, unlike most devices who just stop working they can completely vaporize themselves

They have some script or program that tells them where all those blocks are, and just go through and manually remove them.

The quarry isn’t by a scicraft member, a person named javi made it (check description) Ofc it’s an impressive build (smth I’d never be able to do) but not their design

One of the reasons might be convenience. Signs have a UI popping up when you place them, so if you plan on placing hundreds or thousands of those, signs wouldn't be a good idea. With that off the list, it would be narrowed down to fence gates, buttons, pressure plates, and coral fans. Fence gates, annoying to get/craft and you need to open. Pressure plates, you can only place it on the floor so it only has one use. Buttons, I don't know other reasons than it looks horrendous. While coral fans, you can get them with a semi-auto farm, place it on any solid surface, and I guess looking better is a bonus. Mostly convenience, in summary.

AND there's probably no other use, aside from TNT dupers, other than blocking water. Hopefully someone can correct me on that.

@@Eis_ also coral is movable (slabs are also but they have a hitbox which might cause problems

its to align the blocks coming in so that they stay on the full blocks but also hang over the hoppers so that the hoppers can grab the items

You can easily mine/destroy the budding amethyst. But you won't get the block as an entity drop. That's why you can't move it. So no problem for the quarry at all.

the problem arises when the pistons can't move it so the tnt can't destroy it as the water would get in the way
