Cactus is sloooooowww. I estimate maybe 32 per hour per layer. Even with 50 layers I think 1 hopper will be fine.

that portal xp farm took me 2 days plus like a week for obsidian from bartering and you just build it in one day

I would love to see the actual list of all the farms ya'll need to do and which ones you've already completed on it. That'd help give a bit of scale to the project you are want to accomplish this month

They mentioned local weather in the 2019 Minecraft live I think There shouldn't be a place with snow all the time, but it'd be nice if mountains could have a lot more rain/snow like they do irl

1.18 having naturally formed powder snow and a higher world limit, I think this will be a thing. At least you will get a lot more snow at a higher altitude, I hope :)

I've also shared some more compact cactus farm designs, one of which is about 33% more compact and of similar build complexity as the design shown here. 1:33 "Why do we do this?" The effort I've put in appreciates: "This is basically the best source of XP."

The scicraft people doesn't mess around. They are at day 7 and they are already at endgame fully equipped with best tools and armors while I'm 2 months in my survival minecraft world and I haven't found a netherite.

In bedrock edition it's possible to light and put out portals to get crazy profit(compared to the size)

hi ilmango , you can use snow golems to get xp from the portal gold farm without a player hitting them.

I've been wondering, looking at the in-game chat while you showed the cactus farm, Mathods and Oreo were talking about the shulker farm being broken. What happened to it? (did the shulker die, and not activate the shulker resupply line somehow? or what?

In the nano crop farm, how do I prevent the villager from composting everything? My wheat one is not working well, just a few wheat even after I filled up his inventory with seeds

Ya hoooo... my hooper furnace lockable hooper, stalled!, @ 82 plus lvls from scratch. ie zero lvl whatever dat in total Xp per smelted .. u got it .cactus dye ... 12 story 16 cactus per layer. Fully feeds ONE furnace ( smelting supply) continuously. ( If loaded) Looks like 16 x 16 cactus per layer. .. not long till they outdo per item .still lets see..

You can build that gold farm only in the 1.7.8 because of the wither skull bug.

Just tossing the rotten flesh bugs me because that's where I get my emeralds. I haven't exploited curing zombie villagers to get ridiculous prices in trades. Doesn't help that I wiped out every entity in my base a few months back with a messed up teleport command in a command block, so I had to start fresh with villager favor. "tp @e" instead of @p and every entity in spawn chunks got basically telefragged.

Could a shulker based XP farm work? It would definitely be much slower than most XP farms, but it would make it possible to use looting on the shulkers, so you can get a lot more shulker boxes per hour.

Too slow to be useful in any way and looting isn't too important for them either

@@packediceisthebestminecraf9007 just checked the wiki as well, they usually have a 50% chance to drop a shell without looting this goes up to 68.75% with looting 3. So this would work but would probably not be worth the effort given that the shulkers would have to be brought to the player and the exp really wouldn’t be that much

How can you run that overworld gold farm without major client and server lag? When I was trying to run that after like 2 minutes my game was running at 0.5 fps max and the entire server got lagged out. About the same thing happened when I opened the world in singleplayer as well. Do you use any game optimising mods to run that farm?

We didn't have enemy = we used tnt dupers. We didn't have- we used+Enemy = tnt duper. Enemy = tnt duper
