Science Curriculum Homeschool
I am showing you my plan to homeschool secular science. I have pieced together 3 different curriculum pieces that happen to align into 3 unit studies. We will be covering Life Science, Physical Science, and Earth Science in our secular science homeschool curriculum. We are also combining the science portion of our homeschool day to include both girls. The goal is 30 weeks of lessons over 3 units with both a Pre K and a 3rd grader. We can do it! Watch the video to see what products we chose to combine for our secular science homeschool curriculum. Scroll down to find the links to the products used.

I did feature it in my updates throughout the year. Not a dedicated update video. It did work well for us but we have switched this year to Generation Genius. It's just more open and go and quite a bit meatier.

You are right, secular homeschool programs are hard to find. Faith is a big part of our family life but we like keeping it separate from their formal curriculam. I love your suggestions and I am always trying to make my kids' science fun like you.

This is our first year homeschooling (even though I have had MUCH experience teaching), and I’ve been struggling for the last few weeks assembling exactly what I would like to use in our secular setting. I just have to say, this is exactly the direction I started going, and watching you piece your favorite items together helps me feel sooooo much more confident!! Thank you. I love your ideas. We have ordered Weekly Studies, Minecraft-themed science workbooks as well as a collection of science kits. Now I know I’m on the right path and can finally relax. Have you (or anyone herein reading this) heard of or had experience with Weekly Studies? I can not locate reviews on it (from the homeschool setting)

Why history? I mean, I kind of get that Christian home-school parents don't want to teach their kids about evolution and therefore want to buy a science curriculum that's about God and creation, but what's there about history that needs to be "censored" in that way? It's history. Either way, it's annoying. You virtually can't find anything even remotely decent for history and you pretty much have to freestyle it if you don't want to teach your kids the religious stuff

I get what you're saying about having options .... As a Canadian we unfortunately do not have many options for Canadian curriculum (only like one or two and that's being generous haha). On one hand being so close to America is nice because we can order curriculum from you and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg for shipping, on the other hand Americans are so patriotic that a lot of the curriculum is unusable to us, even world history is very American. There is nothing wrong with that it just means I'm stuck creating my own.
