Insanely direct route to the finale. Kind of funny how this can happen

So happy to be seeing Souls content from you again! I know it’s not your main squeeze anymore but I love it and I’ll enjoy it while it’s here lol Maybe if it’s not too much trouble you could upload your second playthrough from stream too? Just as a way to archive the vods after twitch unalives them.

Some Souls content creators were very vocal against multi-life-bar bosses, and Messmer here is a perfect example of why this complaint was very obtuse. If Messmer had one life bar for each phase, it would be much more intuitive to gauge which attacks damage him the most. Since the bar is comprised of so many points, a 1000-point and a 500-point hit look visually the same, and the only option is to actually number crunch while you're trying to learn the boss at the same time.
@TheAzarak13 күн бұрын
What are you actually referring to? The game shows damage numbers. It's very obvious when one ability hits harder than another.
@he_was_a_skater_dog13 күн бұрын
@@TheAzarak Yes I mentioned the numbers in my comment. I just said it's easier to have a good visual reference of how much damage you're dealing than actually reading the numbers. Bosses probably have life bars that take up the whole bottom of the screen (instead of the baby life bars enemies have) for that very reason to begin with. Either way the complaint KZfaqrs back in the day would make about Friede or Gael having multiple life bars was very silly.
@csquared453813 күн бұрын
I don't understand. Why would having 1 healthbar change your perception of how much damage you're doing? Also, Gael has 1 health bar. I do agree that the number of health bars doesn't matter, but 1 is fine.
@he_was_a_skater_dog13 күн бұрын
@@csquared4538 Doesn't change the perception. It's just that, with less points to the health bar, you can visualize more intuitively how much damage you do instead of having to think of numbers. This would be useful (for me at least) especially in cases like Scott's, where you decide to go away to respec and come back to weigh which build does better.

1:55:53 so apparently the cool impale sound effect they gave the grab wasn't original there. Makes the attack feel a less powerful than the the version currently in game

i love the fight vs all the npc's if you do her quest that fight becomes easier because you've backstabbed them all so she has no more allies to gank with
