When people save edit or straight up mod/cheat infinite consumables and bring endgame weapons back to the starter areas that can potentially carry status conditions that new players can't even recover from, that's just being an idiot and that's MOST invaders in low level invasions nowadays. It is just a repeat of every previous game, hell I remember how hard people were twinking in High Wall of Lothric back in the day, where you couldn't take 2 steps in the level wihtout instantly being invaded by someone with maxxed out flasks, infinite consumables, maxxed out rings (because yes, you could have +3 rings and still invade normally), sure they still only had weapon upgrades that you had, but their characters were VASTLY stronger. Invasions as a system were mostly there to present the players with a random chance to make their run a bit harder with an "intelligent" enemy unit, it was supposed to be a roleplay thing, you are there as an enemy to make the game a bit harder, you aren't there to "WIN". Unfortunately the players that engage with invading are mostly just assholes that just want to "win" their MLG invasions. The system itself really draws these kind of people and a lot of these early invasion experiences can foster resentment in a lot of players.

Scott I just wanna say it's so odd hearing your voice so often these days, I was so used to seeing a bunch of other new content creators cover this game these last two years that it's been quite jarring actually hearing about it from somebody I recognize. Keep it up, it's great to have you back 👍

I know it’s not important but I would’ve like to see a section on armor in the vid. Choosing good armor on a character with a low equip load can be hard to decide, and giving some pointers would have been cool. Also important to note that some armor has bonus effects, like the glintstone crowns increasing Int or the snow witch hat boosting moonblade

I was so excited when I saw you were doing this weapon! I gravitated towards this and the meteoric ore gs on my playthrough. I like extending the ash of war randomly sometimes when players think they can get in a hit after missing. It is stupid but catches people off guard at times!

That tiche bug has been part of the black knife weapon and tiche since I can remember I thought it was just how death flame worked.fumer bottles need a but of a buff, thyere not that useful in their current state. They fuck up little guys but their animations are so slow that its not visble to use them outside of the field to kill small enemies

Smithscript Axe on Lightning or Fire has a little bit less and it's 10 times faster

I have some tips: 1. You can use the Jellyfish Greatshield for 20% more damage and gain the option to block 2. Passive ability's on staffs such as "Boost casting speed", works if it's in the other hand, so if you have on the left a Azur Glintstone Staff and in the other the Lusat one, even if you use the Lusat, the spell casting will be increased, but there's a catch, if the staff have a negative effect, its also shared with the other, but some staffs like the Metorite and the Carian, doesn't have negative effects and buffs specific magic types, so it can be useful for more damage at no cost 3. As most of the staffs doesn't have a ash of war, you can change the controller settings to change spells when pressing the Ash activation button (LT in Xbox) 4. Use Lusat against bosses and in Pvp, use the Carian regal during the rest of the time 5. Millicent Prothesis is also a awesome talisman because the more you hit, the stronger it becomes, not only that but it gives you 5 dexterity, which can increase the cast speed, multi hit spells such as the one said in the video to be good against larger enemies will easily trigger this effect, the Tear for the wonder physics is also incredible good, with these two I was doing massive damage on Bayle

How is that a "good reflection map" in the eye of that mask when the eye wasn't even facing that direction? So it's more of a see-through? Or reflection of where the camera was facing and not the eye?

Smithscript Cirque/Throwing daggers are just trash even with new patch, there isn't any instance where the Smithscript Discus/Hammer aren't just objectively better for range and damage. A base game Kukri or Throwing dagger have more range and the Kukris have bleed build up and range just a bit less than shortbows with lock-on.

The sorcery sword is actually the best catalyst in the game at 40 int and under, you probably won’t be at that level of int if you’re a caster in the dlc but worth noting ig

Naturally, one of the best blights in the world gets their HARD EARNED winstreak invalidated. 1000 wins cannot be achieved by just any average blight player, REGARDLESS of addons or perk build.

PSA: This was a bug and it got patched out. However, you can still do the same block and poke tactic to a certain degree using Greatshields + Guard Talisman + any thrusting weapon with a Bleed infusion.

Black flame is completely dead btw. It’s the same defense as crab now fyi

On the second duel when the spear stunned you it's because it was the second heavy (you can tell cuz its two hits in one)
