This is one of the most honest, open discussions from a straight Pastor. He gives me hope for our one Church in Christ’s image.

Thank you for this conversation, it means a lot. Especially knowing someone who's straight, married, kids, and could have ignored the issue for their own comfort in the church cares about this

Can we just point out Susie's incredible talent at asking brilliant questions? Plus, she doesn't let people get away with anything approaching word salad nonsense. She always gets them to clarify.

Love his point about the problem of thinking our interpretations of scripture are hermeneutically neutral

This podcast is such a ministry. My experience has never really shaken my faith in God but has shattered my view of the church and christians in general.

This was a top-notch interview. I’ve watched it a little more than once. What sucker punched me was his delivery. This pastor has 0 skin in the game, is Conservative-leaning has a wife and kids and he dismantled what Christians throw in our faces regarding something most of them have no idea about. I followed him on TikTok and he’s now one of the best guys you have brought here, to me!

"I don't try." Very wise of you Rev. Dave. Your actions, example, love and kindness are enough. God bless you and your work.

But maybe Adam & Cleve or Adam & Reeve or Adam & Jeeves? (👍🏼 to his talk on the Genesis paradigm)

The funny thing about the Bible not providing a definition for a loving gay marriage, is that the Bible also doesn't provide the kind of blueprint for a heterosexual marriage as we know it today.
