Probably my favorite murder attempt that wasn't mentioned in the video was that one time, they got another SCP; a guy who occasionally teleports to other realities, tranquilized 682, and told the guy to touch it and strand it in another reality. Later, 682 returned bigger and with wings, along with a note saying "It's your problem now."

Another abnormal incident with 682 involved SCP-999. 999 is a blob of orange jelly that makes anyone it comes in contact with extremely happy. 999 is one of the few SCPs allowed to roam around its facility, since it's entirely friendly. 999 was introduced to 682, and 682 began to actually laugh as 999 crawled all over it. 682 completely crumbled as it was incapacitated by laughter, and 999 was enjoying itself. Eventually, 682 adapted and unleashed a sort of, shall we say, "happiness blast." It caused all personnel to collapse laughing....and then 682 broke containment. Of course. Later, 999 asked if it could play with its new friend again.

SCP-682 is a fascinating one. While the primary goal of the foundation is to contain SCPs and keep them secret from the public, they do make attempts to terminate some of them. I have no idea why 682 hates all life to such a degree.

There was like, this one time that they tried to eliminate this guy's killing wish by putting him in contact with a scp that basically make anyone that touch it happier 682 started to laugh uncontrollably and writhe on the ground, but then he released a blast of energy that somehow transferred all the joy he was feeling to the guards around, making them laugh and writhe on the ground as 682 escaped and killed them all

This video (the one Nux watches, I mean) is weird in the way it presents information. It mentions the incident with SCP 053 and the incident where the guy fed children to 682... but out of order, at different parts of the video, and with no mention of the fact that they're connected. The guy started feeding children to 682 after seeing it react to 053 without hostility. He thought that maybe 682 had some kind of parental instinct and that if he put the right kid in the tank then it would become docile. This enraged Dr. Clef, who threw him into the tank with 682 to be eaten.

The 001 confrontation was actually much more terrifying than they implied. 682 actually spoke to the supposed Angel. Part of the data log of their confrontation: The unmanned vehicle is struck by SCP-001-2 and obliterated. SCP-682 survives, as does a backup camera. SCP-682 is badly wounded, having multiple open, bleeding wounds. SCP-682 begins crawling out of the wreckage of the vehicle, towards SCP-001. SCP-682: Is this meant to be the Garden? (SCP-682 begins laughing.) This is not the Garden. The Garden is far west of here. SCP-682 is struck by SCP-001-2. SCP-682 survives, heavily wounded, having lost all but one limb. SCP-682 uses its sole remaining limb to drag itself towards SCP-001. SCP-682: Die? You command me to die? Oh, wouldn't we all like that, but this is my curse for suggesting the fruit. SCP-682 is struck again by SCP-001-2. SCP-682 is extremely injured, but persists as a result of its anomalous resilience. SCP-682: This is not the Garden, and you are not Uriel. (SCP-682 spits towards SCP-001.) Pretender. SCP-682 is struck again by SCP-001-2. SCP-682 falls unconscious as a result of extreme injury. One of proposed implications is that 682 is *_Lucifer_* and the SCP universe is his own personal Hell which is why he can’t die.

One time 682, while on rampage, found an evil a.i. that has been confined to a casette tape. They had an intellectually advanced and very in-depth conversation about various topics, which is oddly even more terrifying.

682 is actually implied to have been multiple mythology monsters, including the serpent that tricked eve. When the guardian of Eden went to kill 682 in the test, it openly said something like "you are a lie protecting a false Eden"

Genuinely Nux, The Old Man: SCP -106 is down right one of the most horrendous SCP. Between his breeches, his recontainment stories, his origin, everything is vile.

There have been even crazier attempts to kill 682. One time it got put into a void that deletes things from reality. 682 got deleted but popped back into existence a few hours later. Another time they trapped 682 inside a book and then wrote a story in which 682 would be killed. Scp 682 just rewrote the story of the book so that he'd survive and escaped the book later. Scp682 literally said "nu-uh" to plot itself😭

Why isn't anyone suggesting SCP 999 like come on it is the most wholesome SCP in the SCP foundation you haven't truly lived till you seen the gelatinous blob of love

If I'm recalling correctly, there's actually some debate in the SCP community regarding whether 682 should truly stay classed as a "Terminate at all Costs" SCP. 682 is the only SCP to ever get that classification, such a classification runs counter to the SCP Foundation's stated goals, and the issue of it being able to incorporate attacks used against it to take out its attackers means the more they try to kill it the more dangerous it becomes.

Anyone else with me in saying the immortal lizard and girl SCP should be reunited? Seriously, that's a "Threat Contained" right there. Why separate them? THREAT CONTAINED.

One of the creepier ones they haven't covered thus far has got to be SCP-1048, The Builder Bear. While (probably) not as dangerous as most other Keter classes and even some Euclid, there's just something particularly unnerving about it.

Two SCPs that I highly recommend are SCP-999 “The Tickle Monster,” the most cuddliest blob ever and SCP-5031, “Yet Another Murder Monster,” for a wonderfully wholesome plot twist

Fun fact: You can take any op character for any sort of media, put them against SCP-682, and none of them would win due to how ridiculously overpowered SCP-682 is.

682 is like... The epitomy of my issues with SCP stuff. It's a super cool idea... That a bunch of goobers ruined by making it silly OP and breaking all immersion. It went from... Well... A hard to destroy reptile to a narrative re-writing, completely immortal mess that's still somehow weak to acid despite being able to prance around on the sun with no issues and being able to resist narratives about it losing. What started as something spooky but interesting devolved into an edgy mess, which is kinda how I feel about most SCP stuff. It wasn't about the scares or weird shit, why do you think the face of the SCP organization started as just half a cat that really liked cheese? Because that shit's cool and weird.

Best ways to get rid of 682- 1. Trap him in an alternate dimension where he can't escape from. I know this was attempted with the Reluctant Dimension Hopper, but they went to a random universe where someone or something helped 682. There are various dimensions in which to trap it. 2. SCP-294 The Coffee Machine was able to create a substance that could actually destroy a section of 682 that didn't regenerate. All that's needed is to create a large amount that can fill a tank. 3. Ask for help from a powerful reality warper. The being known as SCP-4606 Deimos was able to hold 682 in a pocket dimension and tortured him into submission. I believe Deimos could've killed him if he felt like it.

682 is a walking contradiction. Its immortal, can adapt to whatever tries to hurt it, ext... But somehow they can contain it in a vat of acid? It should be able to adapt to the acid. And if ti can't, they have what they need to get rid of it right there. But no, this one is 'special' in all the wrong ways. Out of all the SCPs, this one needs a rewrite the most.

Fun terrifying little piece of lore. 682 was thrown into SCP-3930, which is a hole that literally erases anything and everything that is thrown or falls into the hole in a conceptual level. And 682 even came back from that. From being erased on a conceptual level. Wild.

682 is basically that 1 kid that goes "Nuh-uh, I got sword proof armour. You drop rocks on me? Well I'm also rock proof too. You throw me into the sun? Guess what? Sun proof. I will kill everyone and no one can stop me!"

This is the one SCP that I feel could really benefit from a rewrite, regardless of how bad the fandom is going to get outraged over another OG scp being rewritten, 682 right now is in a weird position where hes so unbelievably OP and powerful, yet so pathetically weak in the termination logs that how the foundation treats him no longer makes sense. Although whats canon for SCP does depend on what the individual believes, 682's testing logs have literally put him up against things that can destroy all of reality with a single thought, yet the foundation has no problems recontaining 682 any time he escapes. The reason why they keep trying to kill 682 is supposedly because of how big of a threat he is to humanity, and he will try to kill all humans, but the lore for 682 implies hes been around since ancient times and has fought against humans, so he's clearly been around for a long time and hasn't done jack shit. So its weird that the foundation is prioritizing killing this 1 SCP that, while powerful at the time, CLEARLY does not hold a candle in terms of a threat to some of the newer, or even some of the past "series 1" scps. I wasn't going to gonna bring up the termination logs or powerscaling (until now. because its actually a bigger problem when I think about it because powerscaling for 682 is ass). He basically never wins any fights in the termination logs and the entire thing is just 682 getting his ass completely roasted, chopped up, and served to him on a platter with him barely surviving, and then the other SCP or foundation just randomly decide to stop the ass whooping and throw him back into the acid. Man has gotten his ass whooped by other SCP's that don't even really superpowers and only adapts to survive a situation rather than win a fight, yet I'm supposed to believe he claps superman in fight somehow. EDIT: To summarize, I don't care that 682 doesn't die in the termination logs, WE KNOW he will never die in the termination logs because thats the whole point. What I'm interested in is the lore that is built from 682 interacting with the other SCPs and all the facinating ways he adapts to survive these termination attempts. Older termination attempts weren't just about killing 682, they were attempts to restrain or just cripple him so he wouldn't be a threat anymore. Which led to facinating scenarios such as his interactions with 053, 999, 001, and 049, and who could forget the time they dropped a mountain of radioactive banannas on him and he turned into godzilla and started shooting atomic breath? Or the time 682 turns into a literal dragon? These scenarios give you something outside of just having him survive. Even in the scenarios that provided no insight into the universe of SCP at least made it seem like there was a possibility of killing 682, that they were just so close but 682's adaptation allowed him to slip away from death. A lot of the newer termination attempts don't even have 682 adapt, he just tanks everything to the face and survives, or he magically reality warps to the other side of the planet somehow and the foundation miraculously captures him before he manages to kill anyone. Its just not interesting since we know he'll survive while also not providing cool scenarios of how he does so. TLDR: 682 surviving everything just because is boring because we already knew he would survive, and once he survives the reality warping SCP and also LITERALLY survives against god himself, I no longer care for the results of the test as much as what happens during it, and unfortunately the author of the termination logs seems either not enjoy writing 682 as much anymore, or he's run out of ideas. There are far more OP SCP's that should take priority in being neutralized over 682 given their abilities are far more lethal and they HAVENT been trying to wipe out humanity since ancient times. Yet the foundation insists on PROTECTING those SCPs over killing them, yet the human hating lizard who has failed to kill a signifigant amount of people for thousands of years somehow takes such top priority that they are busting out the reality warping items and begging what are essentially deities to kill a lizard that they have no problem containing?

682 didn't survive the Gate Guardian, the Gate Guardian let him live.

Probably My favourite experiment with him is: to try to understand him more the foundations sent a d-class with just as much passemism towards life as him, he didn't attack him but did talk with him, afyer a couple of moments the d-class started showing distress and when he was removed he couldn't stop crying, he died sometime later from extreme distress and emotional damage.

Proposal: "Silent Night". Place SCP-682 into an anechoic chamber buried deep underground, and very slowly proceed to fill the room with negative zero deep freeze, forming a tomb of solid slab ice. Barring any extreme seismic or volcanic eruptions, will sleep (reasonably) undisturbed and immobilized.

Even through the vtuber model, you can see every anime nux has watched flash before him, pondering which character, good or evil, trying to think of who or what could send this lizard 6 feet under only to realize each time that it can merely adapt.

My favorite SCP Cross Testing was SCP 682 vs SCP 343 a.k.a. GOD. The SCP foundation asked 343 to destroy 682 but God simply gestured with His shoulders up and down, and said: "I can't do anything to it. It's not one of my creation." Not even SCP 343/God can destroy SCP 682. Pretty Crazy.

The SCP Foundation needs to build a containment facility in orbit around a black hole. The time dilation would give you centuries to figure something out while the SCP experiences barely any time. Also if you unlock its regeneration powers, you could make a society of immortal humans with infinite meat to eat. Now you just need an infinite living space like the Ikea and it's perfect!

Nux here is the funny part even none harmful scps make this thing more dangerous example cross test with scp999 in which 682 laughed it's ass off until it fell asleep and when it woke up released a wave which made everyone on site start laughing there asses off and breached containment

Quick rundown of SCP-173, the Killer Statue, is that it's a statue that appears to become locked into its current position whenever it's being observed via some quantum shenanigans, but whenever it's not being observed, it moves to murder anybody in the vicinity that it can reach, usually through broken necks but sometimes just through beating them to death with its concrete arms. SCP-682 seems to have some kind of power that makes it narrativly impossible to destroy it. Even wiping it from reality just makes it eventually return to reality like nothing ever happened. Even using an anomaly that forced it into a pocket universe where anything written in a book and placed between these two bookends became narrativly impossible to avoid didn't kill it. I can only think of a single story in which it actually died, and that was in a universe where it seems that the concept of Death or some entity far beyond anything the Foundation has ever seen simply obliterated the idea of life in its entirety. Not only was 682 dead, but so was anything else that could be considered tenuously "alive." Even things like microbes and AIs were killed alongside everything else. As for fighting Gojo, it absolutely could adapt to the infinite void. It could do it in a number of ways, but at the very least it wouldn't be able to be overwhelmed by being forced to comprehend infinity, because other stories about it make it clear that it probably already does. Alternatively, it's entirely possible that it would just grow large enough to fill an infinite space. You just can't beat it. Even if you have the ability to alter the narrative of your universe or warp reality, it can just ignore things like that, or else be minorly affected by it at first before developing immunity to it.

There is a video, I think called “was the hard to destroy reptile that hard to destroy after all?” By the same creator telling of how SCP 173 managed to kill SCP 682 in the end.

10:44 it’s also theorized that the gas it’s secreted could be the native atmosphere of wherever this thing came from meaning if that’s true, then it’s adaptations can be permanent. Usually it reverts to a sort of regular state which is the lizard/crocodile looking thing.

I've seen some people propose that it doesn't need to be actually killed, but rather just banished. Like dropping it into the sun or leaving it in orbit.

the part with 173, 682 likely figured out how it worked by watching the containment/transportation methods, if everyone else is making sure to telegraph blinking and keep at least one set of eyes on it at all times, it's a pretty obvious weakness

The thing I love to most about 682 is just this hatred he full. He literally bonds with an AI over this fact. And I love how every attempt at killing him only furthers his hatred towards humans and makes him want to kill us more. It almost every XK class scenario he is one of the only things to be left alive. He is just so cool and there is good 34 images of him so I’m not complaining. I can’t wait for you to dive into some stuff like XK class stuff or some of the truly horrifying scps out there.

The Statue and Shy Guy SCPs together are busted too. If the Statue has a picture of Shy Guy’s face on it, you’ll die either way; can’t break eye contact with the statue, but you also can’t look at Shy Guy’s face, real OR otherwise. Not saying this combination could beat 682, just saying it’s a fatal combo even to the SCP Foundation themselves.

It would be cool if you looked at a localized SCP that is also an existential threat, such as "SCP-3935: This thing a Quiet Madness Made", or "SCP-1423: Summer of '76 and SCP-1833: Class of '76". The creatures are menacing but there is a dread that exists in places of anomaly, similar to the Infinite Ikea.

682, AFAIK, is basically a baby elder god or somesuch, and his regen works by "i have convinced reality that i cannot die, so reality makes it so i don't die". Apparently, a genie-like scp, who grants wishes as long as you give something of equal value to the wish, stated that, in exchange for permakilling 682, you'd need to give him possession of... i think it was half of the universe? maybe it was just half the Milky way galaxy, something like that.
