Also 049 is WAY more tragic in his wiki. Like, he genuinely feels bad for his cure but considers it a better fate then the virus and constantly tries to perfect the cure to stop this side effect of aggressive behavior after death. Really recommend you read the wiki because it is, a extremely tragic Character rather then a "big evil monster" thing. Like, he's theoried to have schizophrenia. to cope with his instant death touch he made the doctor persona to protect himself from the truth of the monster he is.

Yeah nux this is why you need to watch an introduction video before really diving in otherwise you're not gonna know what the hell's going on.

Gotta say usually the most interesting part of SCPs are the field reports, I think it's cooler learning about the SCP through the lens of a person before hearing about it. I def recommend if you end up looking at more. I recommend TheVolgun and TheExploringSeries.

There are 30 known classes in the SCP foundation but the main ones are Safe, Euclid, Keter, Thaumiel, and Apollyon. The best one I think is the story of SCP 999 cause he is just a cute little monster but he is actually the hero of the multiverse. When you are introduced to him his object class is safe. but his real object class is Thaumiel. because he is destined to save Earth from his dad the Scarlet King. The Scarlet King is a universe-ending SCP. 999 has so many stories. in all of them he is the goodest boy. He is just pure love. He has to defeat his dad who can break reality. and he even has a cult. SCP 999 is kind of the black sheep of the family cause all his siblings are evil. all of them want to end humanity except for 999. Thaumiels are usually Heroes.

Scp-105:the photographer. A very tragic story of a women with amazing powers, being forced to do things that which she doesn't want to and her daily struggles with what she does.

Hey thanks for listening to my suggestion! IKEA one has always been a really cool concept, but i will say that imo, the best way to experience this one is actually just the wiki page entry. This vid wasn't bad, it definitely did a good job explaining the concept, but the entry on the website just has another level of storytelling, because it explains how it works through a 1st person perspective via diary entries from one of the survivors and it's written really well. In general, if you want to continue looking at entries, I'd suggest channels that just read the wiki entries out with good VA-ing, because on a lot of the most popular ones that people will ask you to watch, the best way to experience them is really through the excellent horror writing of the people that write for the website.

As for the morality of the foundation, it varies from "morally gray" to "actual satan" depending on the entry. As for an SCP to watch, i'd recommended 1337. It's more serious than the number would have you think.

Stuff like, we have to sacrifice this entire city of people to prevent the end of the world type stuff, and the fallout of those situations. There’s also a sentient yellow booger who eats only sugar, and being in physical contact with him is one of the best forms of psychological therapy a person could get, who might just be the son of basically satan, who’s destined to defeat his father, who’s another scp, which are both linked to one of the most horrific rituals ever devised by any sane or insane person ever, which might not even be real, and is a smokescreen for what the actual ritual is, and why it works the way it does. these SCPS can also be interconnected and tell a bigger story through the interconnections. There’s also small dumb ones that don’t have any greater effect on the world, they are just weird.

There is so much content on SCP it's hard to decide where to start. A video explaining the structure of the SCP foundation, and other agencies at work in that multiverse would be very useful. Starting with a video explaining WHAT the SCP Foundation is, what they do, and WHY they do it, would be very useful for all upcoming videos on the topic. It's a universe that has had a little over a decade of time to build upon, so the original SCP's have some very deep lore. Most SCP files are vague on purpose aswell, so it's hard to know what is "correct" for the overall lore. I'm glad to see you're enjoying the SCP universe though! They're not all "bad" though. Yeah I think 3008 has really caught the imagination of so many people because it's simultaneously hilarious, horrifying, but also a really fascinating worldbuilding experiment. Like what happens when literally hundreds if not thousands of people find themselves stuck in an infinitely large furniture store where they could be killed by monsters every night? How do they defend themselves? Where do they get food? How big of a settlement can be maintained by one of the restaurants? etc etc. You can really get lost just imagining how people might survive for years if not decades in such a world.

Destroying or killing the anomallys can sometimes lead to making things worse. Also sometimes you just can't destroy or kill it. Damned if you do damned if you don't.

4:00 D-Class Personnel are usually prisoners convicted of murder, mass murder, or other violent crimes (and are usually on death row). The SCP Foundation allows them to live and provides them with generally better treatment... with the trade off that they might get selected to deal with a particularly horrifying SCP.

You should really look into all the different types of SCPs, I've been really interested in these for years and I find them really cool and pretty creative. The ones I enjoy the most are Scp-2845, Scp-3166, Scp-1048, Scp-2774, Scp-2316, Scp-970, Scp-012, Scp-205, Scp-004, Scp-008, Scp-002, any food related ones ( 1079, 294, 330, 207, etc.) And all the 001's. Of course there's so many more that are probably a lot more interesting, but these are the ones that stuck with me the most!

Its spooky time. When positing this. So the scariest in general society is SCP_ 1003 By DR-BOB. This one chilled me to to core. Also called the TAPWORM.

Mini crash course on the SCP Foundation: They're not "evil", exactly, but they're far from "good". The basic idea is that they're extremely devoted to keeping the existence of all these anomalous things hidden from the general population... devoted to the point that they are all too willing to do some incredibly horrible things in order to maintain that secrecy (how horrible those things get depend on the writer, a lot of writers will at least _try_ to portray it as "We do these things because they are absolutely necessary" instead of "mwahaha we do these bad things because nobody can tell us not to mwahahaha"). The Foundation doesn't like to destroy SCPs unless it's absolutely necessary. Some SCPs have been noted to have potential uses for medicine and science, so it's worth holding onto them for study. Others aren't really dangerous, so it's not ethical to destroy them. And most of them are just really, really hard to get rid of in the first place, and a good number of those will become even more dangerous if you try to damage them. A good example is SCP 1609. It _was_ a chair that would teleport to someone nearby if they felt the need to sit down... and then the Global Occult Coalition, an opposing organization devoted to _destroying_ anomalous objects, got their hands on it and threw it into a woodchipper. Now it's the shredded remains of a wooden chair that can teleport at will and will *teleport pieces of itself into your lungs* if it perceives you as a threat. D-Class personnel are taken from the "undesirables" of society, usually death row inmates from around the world, though they are also sometimes taken from populations of political prisoners or the homeless, basically the people that "nobody will miss them if they just disappear." The other main way to end up as a D-Class is if you're a member of the Foundation and you *royally* fuck something up. They're basically the Foundation's lab rats, the ones that they use to test or explore anomalies. They're also used as a sacrifice for SCPs that have to be "fed" in some way on a regular basis (otherwise the SCP will enter a more active state where they become much more dangerous). Object classes are a little ambiguous at times, especially for the older SCPs, but you can usually sort them using the "Box Metaphor." If you box it up and leave it alone: - And nothing will happen? It's Safe. - And you don't know what will happen? It's Euclid. As a rule of thumb, anything that can act or think on its own will be at least Euclid class. - And it will absolutely get out? It's Keter. Note that an SCP's class doesn't necessarily mean how _dangerous_ the thing is. If there's a button that will destroy the universe if pressed but you can easily block people off from reaching the button, it's probably Safe. Meanwhile, a friendly dog whose only anomalous property is that it will teleport to a random place in the world at regular intervals would be Keter because it's impossible to keep it contained. If it makes you feel better, some SCPs have a much more comedic angle to them. Some of my favorites are 504 and 5320.

Also, for unsettling SCPs, you have 231, 1730, and 2935. I don't remember the number, but "L is for Lamentations" is another.

You should do SCP-2774, also known as The Slow Burn Sloth. It is a humanoid entity wearing a sloth costume that appears in the background of random television programs. People who took notice of SCP-2774 would fall under its complete control.

The classes aren't based on danger level but how likely the anomaly is to escape or how difficult it is to contain. There's safe which either won't ever be able to escape or has an extremely low likelihood of doing so. Euclid class requires more effort and resources to fully contain, most SCPs are put in this class when they are discovered and then as time goes on and the foundation understands more about them it may become easier to contain them which would then move them to the safe class. Keter-class SCPs are anomalies that are very difficult to contain consistently or reliably, with containment procedures usually being really elaborate and/or complex. The Foundation often can't contain these SCPs well due to not having a solid understanding of them or due lacking the technology to properly contain or counter it. These are the 3 most common classes of SCPs however there are more. Thaumiel class is given to an SCP when it is used by the foundation to contain other SCPs. They are usually kept very classified. Neutralized is when an SCP is either destroyed or disabled and thus no longer anomalous. Apollyon class is given to SCPs that are impossible to contain by any means or are expected to escape containment despite the foundations best efforts. These guys are typically end of the world kinds of monsters most of the time. And lastly (to my knowledge) Archon class, which is given to an SCP when the foundation deems it better to not contain it. The foundation is capable of containing them in theory but the foundation deems it better not to do so.

I feel like Nux would be alot more at home with the GOC than the SCP foundation.

My favorite SCP is SCP-179 Sauelsuesor "The Lookout" But one of the best animated ones is SCP-015 Pipe Hell. The video alone will give you claustrophobia.

The morality of the Foundation is kind of hard to pin down. Ultimately they're doing what they do for the greater good, as without their efforts there are a *lot* of world ending anomalies that would be an issue, but because they recognize the potential danger of even a single uncontained anomaly, they have few limits on what they're willing to do in order to get information on them.

There's a huge amount of content for this SCP specifically, and you can find readings for the journal entries from a captive inside the SCP that's actually really cool to listen to. I absolutely recommend it.
