SCP 3179 is a Keter Class anomaly also known as The Seed.
SCP-3179 is a liquid metal organism of variable size, capable of expanding its mass, altering its own form, and creating smaller autonomous entities. Currently, SCP3179 is inhabiting the interior of a damaged containment unit constructed using Cogwork Orthodoxy techniques in the year 1917.

Because SCP is under Creative Commons license. And what does that mean? It means you can't sell anything directly taken from the SCP Foundation website. For you to sell it, you'd have to remix it. OK, say you remix it and sell it. Are you gonna be rich? No. Because of the Creative Commons license, people are allowed to copy, download, share, and use what you're selling without any restrictions. If you're going to make and sell a TV show to a streaming service or a broadcasting company, you must expect to make huge losses, as you give away your rights to copyright your TV show. Pirating it would not be a crime at all. Suffice to say, no service would buy your TV show. The only way to get a TV show would be with a huge community effort which does not expect any profit from this project. It would be funded through donations and crowdfunding campaigns. Seems unlikely.

I have a theory that Yaldabaoth and Mekhane were once the same entity. However an instance occur that forever divide them into 3 being. One of Id and Flesh side = Yaldabaoth. Other of Super-Ego and Mind = Mekhane. The third purely of the Ego and Spirit = God (SCP-343 or something similar).

Id really like to see a dedicated Sarkicism video to do more of a deep dive on that side, and some of its associated SCPs and activity

The Sarkics are fairly interesting on their own. Many Sarkics don't even really worship Yaldabaoth, instead it's their belief that they must surpass Yaldabaoth in power and replace the deity as the God of Flesh. Grand Karcist Ion is idolized by many as being to closest human to accomplishing this task. Some of his more dedicated followers even say Ion has already surpassed and replaced Yaldabaoth.

@@pancakes8670 I tend to view the Sarkics (the Proto-Sarkics at least) as genuinely decent people just trying to live their lives and exist, but get tragically misunderstood and villianized. They don't even see the Church of the Broken God as their "divine enemies", as the Church sees the Sarkics, as Mekhane isn't even a part of their Scriptures or other religious text so they don't really care about them. The series "Anthropological Study of Sarkicism" does a good job trying to look at the Sarkics (or Nälkä as they prefer to be called, as "Sarkic" is really a racist slur made up for them in the past, as Metaphysician has said). It looks at a few different Proto-Sarkic communities and how they live, as well as a Neo-Sarkic group that ends... not so well.

@Mod Zilla I wouldn't call my boy/girl Mekhane a "dark lord". The dude/girl is the nicest thing you'll ever get out of this verse and it's multiple canons. For example: rememeber the broken god 001 proposal? Mekhane's avatar was that lady with chains for hair that activated 2399 to destroy the fake Mekhane and stop it from killing people.

My guess is that a part of Mekhane became somehow corrupted by Yaldabaoth, and ended up becoming this SCP. It would explain why they don't call it "His Broken Seed", and rather, just "The Seed"

I believe that it is one of the prisons of Yaldaboth. Part of Yaldaboth trying to escape, using what limited power is available from its prison to be released. Its escape strategies have been based on instinct, its own and its captors, moreso than reasoning

I'd assume it's because of a lot of modern religious public figures ignoring or outright denying scientific finding as well as it not being helped by historic examples of it as well, thus creating this perceived dichotomy between science and religion

@@jondw cappppppp literally almost every scientific finding was done by theists and a good chunk of it was because their holy texts says to do so for example “Lo! in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the difference of night and day, and the ships which run upon the sea with that which is of use to men, and the water which Allah sendeth down from the sky, thereby reviving the earth after its death, and dispersing all kinds of beasts therein, and [in] the ordinance of the winds, and the clouds obedient between heaven and earth: are signs [of Allah’s sovereignty] for people who have sense” (Quran 2:164)

@@farkhkhan9495 I'm not disagreeing on that fact, unfortunately, a few high-profile historic cases of the church being against some new discovery bury the numerous examples threw out history of religious individuals being the driving force of science thus creating this perceived dichotomy. all of which is only further reinforced by modern high profile theists denying scientific discoveries. I'm not saying it is a justified view, I was merely trying to explain why I believed the view existed

I think it's possible that, eventually, SCP-3179 may blend with SCP-682, creating a "Mecha Godzilla" scenario should it further combine with SCP-079, then, the only way to fight it would be to assemble Mekhane as humanity's "Jet Jaguar".

Mekhane, like Yaldabough, also has 6 Angels or helpers which each represent a part or idea of Mekhane, similar to Yaldaboughs 6 Archons. One theory could be that the Seed is one of those Angels, buts that’s just a wild theory.

So, we are talking about an anomaly that REALLY wants to escape it's confines and perhaps send a negative influence over to the uninformed. And shatter the beliefs of the devout. Maybe it is a darker half of Mekhane himself? Perhaps it is his seed, but it is just a darker, impulsive, and sinister side that he had buried out of love for his children?
