Really learning a lot from your videos. I have a big armature from a treadmill I need to scrap so this is timely. I love your level of detail, for me it's just perfect. I'm collecting scrap for a local charity and when I can break it down to get extra money for them I will.

I I really appreciate how you break everything down and price everything out it really helps for Scrappers to decide what's worth and what's not worth their time I myself found armatures not worth my time but after watching your video I may give it another try thank you for your videos PS that spider is his guard spider he's protecting your brass and copper from theft🤠

That motor was less than expected. The motor I took apart in my last video was from a lawnmower. Just shows that similar products don't always produce the same materials. Great video as always buddy. Getting me through my downtime in Germany

I am loving that property of yours there Buddy. Always fun to watch a master at work. I wonder if you might be able to remove that plastic / Bakelite type material by heating those pieces and tossing them into water and then your signature towel and hammer work. A pound and a half of copper, great job. How much does the scrap yard pay for those spiders. LOL

I haven't done any of the newer electric lawn mowers but I did cut up a few electric lawn mowers from i think the 70's and got lucky that my mower decks were aluminum too. They were orange and white or maybe silver? believe they were black and deckers. They all came from the same cleanout job

Those little bits of dirty and clean aluminium and dirty and clean brass may be trifling amounts here, but they are like saving pennies if you keep at it. They will add up to a large total.

Love your videos. you look like you live remotely in a forested area This is maybe a weird question, but are there bears where you live. I live in Australia so just curious. Keep up the scrapping. Great hobby & it helps the environment.Thankyou scrapitall😊

that little block with the 4 legs was a rectifier. it might be an electric lawn mower but apparently that was a dc motor

I just hammer the hammer the commutator. It will break apart. If you need it bare just hammer the pieces and they will come clean.

I always try to get those big ferrite magnets out unscathed, but they can be a challenge. I have need for healing of inflammation in my right elbow. Since I am also a hobby scrapper, I doubt whether wrestling with armatures and rusty nuts forms the cause. But rest and medication hasn't fixed it. Perhaps you can work wonders through prayer. And besides that, I'd like to hear you pronounce my KZfaq name 😅

I have so many magnets already! They can be tricky sometimes to remove without breaking so I opted to just leave them. Thank you for watching.

Them plastic things pull right off the brass ends before u cut it pull rubber back and cut it then that’s what I do easy

I clipped the plastic then grabbed the steel, simple and quick.
