CLIP DESCRIPTION:
After the Ghostface Killer makes an attempt on Sidney's (Neve Campbell) life, she begins to suspect her boyfriend, Derek (Jerry O'Connell).
FILM DESCRIPTION:
A year after the monstrous success of 1996's neo-slasher flick Scream, director Wes Craven and screenwriter Kevin Williamson reunited for this follow-up. Since viewers last saw the characters, nosy newswoman Gale Weathers has written a sleazy best-selling book based on the events of the first film, a book that has been adapted into a Hollywood film called Stab, starring Tori Spelling as Sydney Prescott. The real Sydney (Neve Campbell) has since gone away to college in Cincinnati in hopes of leaving the horrific events of her past behind her. Unfortunately, at a showing of Stab, two college students are murdered in a fashion that is reminiscent of the slayings that took place back in Woodsboro. Suddenly, Sydney, her pal Randy (Jamie Kennedy), and dopy deputy Dewey (David Arquette) find themselves once again pursued by a ruthless masked killer. Among the other potential killers and victims are Sarah Michelle Gellar, Laurie Metcalf, and Liev Schreiber.

Ghostface is sometimes clumsy like that. It's also somewhat hard to see out of that mask. I honestly think that Scream is not exactly a scary movie, but has quite a few comedic moments. Maybe the fall on the chair was showing comic relief. Scream 4 really did bring the brutality and intensity, which I liked!

When you think about it, the reason why Ghostface is always tripping over shit is because of the obstructed visibility caused by the mask. I've worn the costume before for Halloween. All you can see is straight in front of you in a dark POV. You have to turn your head left, right, up, or down to know precisely where you're walking (I tripped over a rock while walking around the streets on Halloween night). Notice how he was looking at Sidney when he tripped over the chair.

You can tell this wasn't Mickey. It was Mrs. Loomis. About the same height as Sidney, and not to mention clumsy like everyone pointed out. Unlike the Scream 4 killers, this film at least had a realistic/believable height to her in costume.

Technically this was Mickey. You can tell cause Mickey is left handed and so is ghostface in this scene. Mrs. loomis is right handed and is more proven later in a scene with randy.

That kind of gives it away that Debbie was Ghostface here…the killer and Sidney were the same height here in this scene and the grunting sounded female. Plus the whole “ remember me” sounded very personal since Sidney killed Debbie’s son Billy. She was desperate for revenge. That’s why she was so impulsive that she started falling over on the floor…a lot of adrenaline kicked in for that old lady 😂

Three things the made me crack up during this scene… 😂 #1 The way Ghostface charges at Sidney, with his arms wide open only for her to shove him onto the table. #2 The comedic timing of the police car racing by when Sidney was in danger. 🚓 #3 Ghostface taking a hard fall. … That’s why SCREAM 2 is my favorite of the franchise.

I think the concept blew over your head. This is not supposed to be funny. It's showing you this is a movie aware of the horror genre, and how villains seem to teleport around obstacles. In reality, someone running around a house in a costume is going to have poor visibility. That's what makes this scary. This can really happen.

Of course your gonna have obstructed vision, so it makes it more real. The killer is clumsy because he is human. Well based on the events that happens in Scream 1, 2 & 4, you can tell which killer is behind the mask. But yall gotta remember that there is a stuntman; Dane Farwell in the costume, so don't determine the killer because of the height.

This is my favorite scream movie 😎 I remember watching it a lot on tv as a kid but what's weird is just recently I watched from start to finish and I literally said to myself, "omg I think that's the first time I actually really saw this movie all the way through." I saw part 1 and part 3 plenty of times but this one I feel like I saw the least so yes this one is my favorite 😊

"Hello Sidney. Remember me?" "I want you, it's showtime." That sounds like something Mrs. Loomis would've said. Whether or not it was Mrs Loomis in the costume here, it had to have been her on the phone. Because Derek got hurt, that's what makes me think it might've been Mickey in the costume, but the voice on the phone made me believe it was Mrs. Loomis. That to me is one of the best and scariest parts of Scream & Scream 2. Cause you could never 100% tell who did what. At times it was obvious, and at other times it was like 50/50. So it kept you wondering; trying to solve the "whodunit" mystery. And this is one of my favorite lines by Sidney: "then show your face you f'ing coward." Next to "not in my movie." And although I'm not a big fan of S4, her "you don't f with the original" line was also badass.

The beginning is a little unbelievable. While she was on the phone she was somewhat facing the front door, and at least she could have seen it out of her peripheral, so how did she not see the killer come inside and close the door before hanging up? Her boyfriend could have noticed something going on too
