This was fun guys! Sorry I was so damn tired. Hopefully next time I'll get some sleep. It was rather interesting at least to listen to the couple in my hotel room screaming then make up sexing all night. You guys are seriously the best though and I'm excited to see you again.

A while back, yourself, Jeremy, FlickPick (I think?) and someone else had a discussion over headsets for over an hour. That was an interesting watch that went largely unnoticed. I was wondering if you'd consider doing one again? It's definitely enjoyable having a more laid back attitude and just discussing films idly. Especially with Jeremy chucked into the mix.

John is seriously one of the most impressive fighters, maybe ever on MovieFights. He stopped when the timer went off instead of getting off more words, he was respectul & calm/wasn't just screaming like plenty of fighters do, made excellent points on all fights & he was really funny but in a good way, not just yelling!

You know what Movie Fights needs? Someone with serious art film, classics, and B-movie knowledge to balance out the pop culture/comic book movie crowd. EDIT: More appropriately I think the show could benefit from more varied questions, as they've had guests with serious film knowledge on but rarely do they have opportunities to showcase the extent of that knowledge.

Brett should have gotten the point with the VR question. Both Chris and John don't seem to know what VR is. What they were arguing was more a video game than a VR experience. Brett argued perfectly that VR is just being able to look around, what Chris and John argued was riding dragons, having sex with a NAVI riding and shooting with the Falcon.

In my opinion, Chris Stuckmann won every single one of the main round arguments and most of the speed round arguments. I believe that John was the second best participant winning me over with The Dark Knight Rises and the John Claude Van Dame (sorry if I misspelled) arguments. Brett had very good ideas that sadly didn't match up to the others for me. However, great fight nonetheless!

I loved Chris's pitch for Indy 5. I live in central AZ and I could see the Superstition Mountains everyday from my house in Apache Junction, and even hiked the mountains. There certainly is a lot of talk about the mystery of the Flying Dutchman and there are tons of celebrations regarding the legends in that area.

When complaining about how short Jason Bateman was, I hope they realized that Downey Jr. is like 2 inches taller than him and wore HIGH HEELS on set. You can find the pictures.

I haven't been watching the show very much lately, because I feel like it has really gone downhill in quality. However, I tuned in to watch Chris Stuckmann, who consistently brings a high level of intelligence in his arguments. He structures what he says very nicely and delivers his arguments in a calm, clear manner. This episode was a lovely break from the usual shouting and was genuinely interesting to watch.

Yeah, I definitely see how he can come across like that. I've been watching his channel for awhile now and have gotten used to his demeanor, so I guess it's not something I really notice anymore. Even though he can read as a little pretentious, he still makes some really good points and clearly knows his stuff. :)

Oh, I didn't realize that! Haha, that's actually really interesting. Maybe that's the Chris Stuckmann cycle...you like him, he annoys you, you like him again, he annoys you again, etc. Weird.

I agree. I think the judge likes to be fair to everyone for the first few rounds and gives each of them a win... unless their argument is just terrible of course. But Chris really did take this seriously and deserved to win imo

The discussions are supposed to be hypothetical / fantasy, so why real life issues like Edward Wrights relationship with Marvel is an argument against Chris Stuckman in round 1 baffles me.

It was dumb to detract from Chris Stuckman when arguing for Jason and the Argonauts because the remake might be made with CGI. A director could decide to remake the movie with practical effects again, but more modern and updated practical effects that are better than the ones available when the movie was originally made. Besides that, Chris could have easily made the same argument of the remake not being as well made as the original against their movies which pretty much shows it's a non-argument. But beyond that, having CGI in a movie isn't bad in and of itself. A lot of movies people praise for not using CGI actually use quite a bit of CGI they just aren't in your face with it like Mad Max Fury Road. So even if they re-made Jason and the Argonauts with some CGI elements it doesn't mean the movie would be bad so long as they did those CGI elements well enough.

+HelixTheAlmighty Honestly, this was the film out of the three choices I would rather have re-made, and I agree with your points as to the CGI/practical effects issue. I do think it has the potential to turn into a "Clash of the Titans" mess, but that can happen with any film. With their struggle to come up with a good Van Damme movie, maybe someone should just re-make all of those.
