His sequel pitch sapped any credibility anyone should have for his opinions. First of all, La La Land should never have a sequel. That defeats the purpose of the ending. You would be selling out and compromising the whole freaking movie. Scott destroyed everything about that movie. Making this a dark, depressing movie is an awful idea. Oh and Margot Robbie and Jeff Goldblum are not movie stars and couldn't even save a cat from a tree.

worst pitch I have ever heard. completely undermined the story of the original "because people wanted to see them together". Retreading the same themes doesn't sound great either. Muppet parody is the only La La Land sequel that should ever exist.

Mike Carlson is one of the few people that could really challenge Dan for the belt.He think so outside of the box and his creativity could really challenge Dan's movie knowledge and sharpness.

i think that in the end it will come to be creativity v.s. knowledge, and well, if the questions are more "creative" like "pitch a movie" or so, Mike has a bigger chance, but if they focus on things like "best performance for a noir movie" then Dan would have the advantage, even if Mike is creative, the inmense knowledge of Dan would back him up, because as a fims critic, hes got the abilities to unwrap the main caracterisitics of a movie, things like "a performacne" "the job of a director", "special effects", to the point that he is able to choose answers that do not correspond with his personal preference (a big mistake Sccot has). And his Ace on the sleve? Dan also is creative, on the opposite site, Rocha has lots of knowedge but zero creativity. And Mike is also knwoledgable but not as much as Dan (by far, go watch that other movie figths show).

Besides, in the story Victor collects parts from all kinds if people (though mainly criminals, I think), so it's not his natural look that should really matter so much as how decomposed he is. Besides, playing an electrically charged person wouldn't really be new territory for him. hes already done it twice in the Alien movies

Man, I thought Hal could get on my nerves sometimes, but Mance is slowly coming into the lead. I like everything about him, movie facts, arguments, energy...EXCEPT how he contradicts himself by interrupting people all the time, and then when he talks and someone starts to interject, he's all "hold on" or "let me finish". You can't have it both ways, buddy. Just fight clean, and you'd be a strong, strong fighter.

Mantz has really lost my respect for constantly riding on La La Land so hard. We get it, you love the movie Mantz but it has influenced all of your choices, it is even beginning to overtake his love of Star Trek. For example, picking Emma Stone to be in Top Gun 2, like seriously Mantz, everyone knows if they cast a woman to be in it, it needs to be Michelle Rodriguez or Charlize Theron hahaha

Mike Norris yeah I agree. I think his obsession of Emma stone, Margot Robbie and la la land seems to have prevented him from actually thinking of great answers. As a result his answers are terrible and he becomes grating to listen to; it's practically disrespectful considering all the other people should be at this table.

JTE is knowledgeable, but his attitude is incredibly grating and rude. He's always scoffing, making snide comments, and as someone who WORKS on the show, can't comprehend the "No interrupting during speed round" rule. He's very knowledgeable, but he's so unpleasant that I almost never want him to win because he just comes off as an arrogant jerk whenever anyone makes a pitch, and a poor sport any time he doesn't win a round.

+kingstewy +Mike Fayed I will concede he can be a bit of a bad sport but at least he takes it, it's not like he throws tantrums. He responds to points very directly, unlike Mantz who goes off on tangents all the time. And he brings up new points during the fights, rather than repeating the same ones over and over. He could definitely be more respectful I agree, but Hal and Marc Andreyko used to be pretty salty everytime they lost too, but overtime they've gotten relatively better. I'm sure he'll be the same. You have to agree with me at least that he got robbed on the Top Gun round.

This is a competition I mean you can love him or hate him but he is always grateful in defeat. I normally don't hear him scoff any things like that either but like I said this is a game and if you can get in someone's head, that's a strategy. The only time I heard him scoff this episode or w/e you would like to call it was towards Carlson's answers and that was because it was funny. Dam everyone likes to blow things out of proportion these days. Not to mention that JTE likes playing the heel. If you don't like him on this your head will explode watching him on schmoes... At the end of the day it's all a game and I just find it strange when viewers take things more seriously then the people playing.

The comment about the phantom as the Hawkeye was the best part of all this. The key is that he's the HUMAN of the group, there's nothing supernatural about him, he's just ugly. He can be the relatable one that does what needs to be done even though he's not in the same class.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson would be a terrible choice as The Wolfman (AKA Larry Talbot). Bradley Cooper would be a much better choice to play that character. Not only does he come off as more of a normal guy (and not a body builder), but in Silver Linings Playbook, he plays a nice man suffering from bipolar disorder. A good person that has destructive and uncontrollable outbursts. Similar to the character of Larry Talbot in the original.

If they're actually true to the name HONEST Trailer, I'd be totally down. Sometimes Honest Trailers of late have become unwarranted hate sessions. If they do an Honest Trailer where they praise the heck out of Citizen Kane, that would be awesome. The only people that think Citizen Kane is overrated are the people who only like superhero movies and explosions while not understanding the true film making qualities that make Citizen Kane a genius masterpiece.

Jay Jay- HONEST Trailer. Not movie bashing session or Cinema Sins. Honest. Spending five minutes bashing on Citizen Kane is NOT honest. Because it's a great movie. And you've never watched an honest trailer where they praised a movie?

Van Helsing, Wolfman, Dracula, The Mummy, Mr. & Mrs. Frankenstein, Mr. Hyde, The Invisible Man, Phantom of the Opera, Creature From the Black Lagoon and The Hunchback of Notre-Dame. Not a bad lineup, should have em all come together to fight demons or cthonians or something like that...
