I have always wanted to sculpt, but life got in the way. I'm now in my 70s and plan on making some 1:12 scale dolls. I came across your channel, and it is the best I have found. I majored in commercial art, and your teaching skills make me believe I will be making some pretty impressive folks for my dioramas. When I was in art school in the early 70s, our professor would lie down on the big windowsill and tell us to sketch him for the next hour. We were robbed by our generation. We are fortunate to have someone of your caliber gift us with your precious time and educational capability. Your feedback proves that you give great joy to so many. 😊Thank you!

i have to thank you for doing a "full" tutorial, telling us what your doing and why. I keep find tutorials that just show somebody making it in silence, only worse than that because they play that god-awful free KZfaq music thats mind numbing. Very quickly I stop watching. Ya dont learn much anyway if theyre not gonna have comentary on wht theyre doing whatever and what tools they use. This video is more than full of information and could be a whole college course and maybe it is. Thank You again Ive learned a lot and will watch your other stuff as well

Yeah, Great Video. Dont let my imaginary twin bug ya, he gets to writing stuff and wont stop. Then people think its me and I get in trouble. And he wears my clothes too, so people really think its Me and he needs to get his own computer. You should see the kinds of stuff he watches. Could get me kicked off the internet

Absolutely the best teaching videos online. No one is doing this, the detail and taking your time to teach these techniques is invaluable to those like me who want to learn and develop their skill. I can't believe it has taken me this long to find your videos, but I am thankful to have found them. I am absolutely excited to use these techniques to develop humanoids such as fairies, brownies, satyrs, etc. I am always drawn to dragons and mythical creature creation. I would love to see your techniques for creature creation. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and skill.

How you are not one of the best recommended channels on youtube, just baffles me! It's not only your quality as an artist and how good a teacher you actually are, but it's also the fantastic sense of humour you have an overall what a great human being you clearly are (the devil is in the detail). Thanks a lot for your all your hard work and for sharing your incredible skills and knowledge with us.

aaw, shucks! Thanks for the kind words! I think my appeal is limited by the fact that I AM actually teaching, as opposed to just showing a quick and satisfying summary of an art project. There's a lot fewer artists who want to learn than there are people who just want to see a project magically appear before them. Someday I'll get to the point where I can do both. :)

Thanks for doing this, the whole series is a fantastic FREE resource that is invaluable for beginners and a great reminder for those who have been sculpting longer and just want to brush up on some bits that they may not have done for a while. I know I relied on them to get me started and I keep dipping back in as a reminder when I'm doing different bits and pieces. Thank you, thank you, thank you........thank you 🙏🙏

Thanks so much for all that knowledge. Quick question, doesn't the bead melt during the cooking of the polymer clay?
@JoshForeman
@JoshForeman 3 жыл бұрын
I've never had a problem with plastic, wood or metal baking with polymer clay. Some people think that polymer clay needs to be baked in a kiln, which is much much hotter than polymer clay needs. Super Sculpey Firm has 275 f listed, but I often do it closer to 250 but for an hour longer.

Loving all the tutorial lessons. How much time do you have with epoxy clay? You never seem stressed it's setting or will do before you finish?
