She(ela) is back, and she's here to stay.
Osho’s controversial and sassy ex-secretary, Ma Anand Sheela returns to India after 34 years of exile and people just can’t get enough of her. Searching for Sheela is an intimate look into her journey across India, observing the rebranding of her as a pop-culture icon, with audiences unable to decide if they deem her a "criminal" or remain in awe of her badass secretary days.
Sheela, now frail and 70, in the twilight of her life, appears to be seeking redemption, but is she? And if she is, does a world consumed by spectacle allow her the space to? Find out for yourself in Searching For Sheela, on 22nd April, only on Netflix.

Sheela never admits to wrong doing or apologizes for poisoning all those people and trying to kill several others. She gets mad at people when they bring it up. Narcissists will never say they did anything wrong. I see lot of people admiring her for being a strong woman, like all the fan boys of Andrew Tate who think he's an alpha male. Don't admire narcissistic behavior.

@@tori2dles You might be correct, but here is my analysis... One is not eligible for repentance only if he/she admits. One can repent even if he/she does not admit publicly but their conscience is guilty. Also, one can repent in ways where one feels he is not at all guilty, but would be repenting in some or the other way, as per the definition of 'Karma".

to hell with her bullshit words anyway, she's a very delusional woman still living in denial, seems to me she just keeps living in a story that she created in her mind to somehow justify all of her bullshit, i dont feel like she had aged gracefully and there seems to be very little joy in her life to this day, she is only left to feed her narcissism being sorrounded by people who are even more delusional in clinical terms so she can maybe feel little bit better about herself. Her life was obviously about the stage and spotlight but once the curtain fell down she had to deal with a reality that was very different from her own psychological reality and she seems to have never recovered from it. That's why it is important for human beings to have enough perspective on our lives to know what will truly matter to us and what is just temporary and meaningless.

Sheela's false statements: 1. Sheela denied “admitting attempted murder.” In fact, Sheela pled guilty to the attempted murder of Osho’s personal physician. Sheela also pled guilty in a Swiss court of “criminal acts preparatory to the commission of murder” in relation to a plot to kill US federal prosecutor Charles Turner in 1985. 2. Sheela denied committing immigration fraud but admitted to bringing Osho into the United States. In fact, Sheela pled guilty to immigration fraud in connection with many marriages. 3. Sheela denied wiretapping, claiming that she had bugged Osho’s room with his consent for his security. In fact, Sheela pled guilty to a massive wiretapping scheme including all public telephones on the ranch as well as many telephones used by Ranch residents. 4. Sheela denied “poisoning a town.” In fact, Sheela pled guilty to poisoning salad bars and restaurants in the Dalles Oregon preparatory to executing a plan to poison the town water supply on election day. 5. In response to a long question, Sheela stated “I have not committed a crime, okay.” In fact, in addition to the crimes discussed above Sheela pled guilty to the poisoning and assault of two Wasco County public officials, burglary and arson of public offices. 6. In response to a question about Osho’s comments about her, Sheela stated “He was doing drugs that make you depressed (and cause) schizophrenia.” (!!!)

I'm an Osho Sanyasi and let me put it this way Osho was Master of Controversies he loved controversy because that way news channels and newspapers has to print his controversies and so people get curious about Osho and started to read his books and his listen to his Discourses and boy o boy once you read him there is no turning back bt to fall in love with him and his teachings

I think the idea is not to fall in love with a Guru or their teachings, it's about realizing one's true freedom and become love itself. A lot of people get stuck with teachings and Gurus and never go beyond it. I have read a number of Gurus, such as Ramana Maharshi, Sri Aurobindo, Tagore, Vivekananda, Kabir and even modern Gurus like Sadhguru, Osho and scriptures like Gita, Ashtavakra Gita, Yoga Vashisht, Vigyan Bhairav and so on. But after reading all this I understood that one has to be free of everything, including these teachings and need for a Guru, in order to see or rather be the truth of life. Once you are aware of your conditioning, you begin to see things in their true form. P.s. - All this is just my findings. You are free to investigate into it.

@@anonymoushandle007 Yes completely agree with you ... Everyone has their own path and gure will only guide you through that ...and when i said you'll fall in love with Osho I'm not talking about the forum of love which we know right now... I'm talking about the much higher fourm of love which most of enlightenment being talked about .. Also Osho use say never believe what i jst simply because ot was said by me "Maano mat Jaano" and that's the beauty of Osho....
