Notice how he could’ve intervened when Piccolo was getting ki blasted by Cell, but didn’t. But intervened when a stronger version of Cell was stalking 18. Fucked this moment up for me since l realized he didn’t slide for Piccolo

Tien might not have been able to keep up with the Saiyan power levels, but he's always had the most effective techniques. Everyone has stolen a technique of his at some point.

Roshi did not teach his secret technique, the Thunder Shock Surprise, to his students because it was dangerous. However, Roshi's classmate, Master Shen (Tsurusen'nin), taught Tien(his student) the dangerous Tri Beam art to defeat the Roshi and his students.

Cell getting humbled! One of the best moments in DBZ; none of us see it coming way back! Following Master of Sacrifice (Piccolo) Tien gives his best to hold Semi-Perfect Cell back! and yes, that is the same move he used against Nappa, after years of training he must've mastered it to such a level that he not only can conserve more energy & life force efficiently enough but also getting more power!

Subscribing and following you guys remind me of my old days as an internet cafe attendant... if there are no costumers i re watch (im 90's kid misses those dragonball days) the dragonball to dragonball z to dragonball GT +Movies + the last old episode of dragonball saga in the past when goku jr and vegeta jr battle in the arena with super saiyan powers . I prefer old dragonball series than now because the anime of the past is VERY DETAILED .. lining,shadows, every small detail 👌.. right now is like a coloring book full plain with more deformity in their faces while battling

Cell was ruthless he didn't waste any time, which is why he's my favorite villain. Right down to business he doesn't do a lot of talking. And for Tien to hold back Cell in his second form is amazing a great moment for him and the Androids were stupid. But I think it was out of fear maybe they felt that no matter how far they run Cell was not going to rest until they were absorb. So maybe they felt powerless and saw no point but still foolish. And Cell popping up on Android 17 like that reminds me of the Undertaker sitting up.

Yes, but they both knew they had a chance to survive when they saw how well 16 was doing against Cell, so that should have been reason enough for them to leave. It's funny how everyone else shows more concern over 17 and 18 being absorbed than 17 and 18 show for themselves. Maybe some of the bad choices were out of fear, but who knows. Sometimes characters have to be complete morons to further the plot.

I really like 17 but his problem was his stubbornness, he and his sister are teenagers so logically they would have immature thinking, especially Android 17 because he is more impulsive sometimes. this scene is still scary

I fell so sad about Android 17 he fight with Cell to the end and Cell absorb them that is so sad and hard to watch. I love Android 16 he is brave, calm, good and always ready to help Android 17 and 18 to every possible way to protect them against Cell. Now the Cell is Imperfect form he is now much stronger and it would be a very difficult to the Z Fighters to defeat them now . I also love Tien he fight with Cell alone and he is ready to face to face him and fight him to the end to protect Android 18 from Cell.Tien is very good and brave man he never give up and he is confident in that what is he doing l love him. Remember, Semi Perfect is beyond powerful than DBZ Frieza. To see Tien, a human, manages to slow Semi-Perfect Cell down just fully sealed the entire Android Saga entirely for me. You got Future Trunks destroying Frieza, you got Krillin head butting Imperfect Cell (flinching it), and then you got this. It was awesome.

I'll be honest here, 17's an idiot here after when 16 just told he and 18 to leave before Cell completely absorbs him they just stood their and allowed it to happened. Ego and cockiness is what got him absorbed. Had he and 18 left there mightve been a chance of 16 beating Cell.

It makes sense though, until this moment he was the strongest being on the planet and nothing and nobody had even touched him. He wasn't in the mindset of someone who would run away.

Cell did this what he must. Android 16 is real strong but he had no idea about Cell's regeneration ability, which Piccolo's cells have. Both androids who are siblings now realize how cruel Cell is, and they themselves have killed people but not in the same way as this monster who has no inhibitions. While even me watching this and every other episode i was impressed by 16's strength and abilities, but it won't destroy Cell. The fucking one sneaking behind 17 managed to achieve his goal and absorbed the first one, but the transformation animation was still amazing. Now no one can defeat him except the warriors Z, Vegeta, Trunk, Goku, Gohan after training in a special dimension. Tien decided to intervene and help his friends a bit, buying some time until Krilin arrived with the 18 deactivation device.

16's moves are so cool ! Rocket Punch and Hell's Flash are really awesome. Too bad 17 has been absorbed thought. Second form Cell is not the ugliest but he's far to be beautiful lol. And Tenshinhan with his Shin Kikoho...The best moment of glory for the three-eyed baldy. A shame we don't have Norio Wakamoto's voice and his signature "buraaa !" when Cell is hit

That was Cell's mistake when he mentioned on how they should fulfill Dr. Gero's goals. 18 knew right away that was not 17 as soon as Cell brought that up. She knew very well 17 hated Gero and wanted to do things on his own terms, not what anybody tells him too.

If you look at when Cell is using 17's voice to try and trick her, what tips 18 off that it was a lie is that 17 said nothing was more glorious than doing what Gero intended. That was when 18 knew it was a lie.

People say that because the Namek Elder unlocked Krillin's potential. I don't think there is anything concrete saying that one is stronger than the other. Both characters have some awesome techniques. Tien never stops training but Krillin is pretty savvy on the battlefield. He did pretty well against Piccolo in the world's martial arts tournament.
