Such great advice! I’m an old woman, and I overheard some young men in a restaurant describing how they have given up dating because of the abuse they receive from women. I was shocked! I have been lucky enough to know many terrific and admirable men who deserve praise and respect. Young men today are swimming valiantly upstream against a flood of badly-advised badly-raised female brats. I predict these “Princesses” will be needy and alone once their bodies go to seed in middle age. My advice is treasure your natural masculinity. Don’t let ANYONE put you down for your desire to be loved. Oust every sneering person in your life. You have a right to your own opinion, and don’t have to explain yourself to anyone. Pursue happiness!!!!!

I was in a 12-year marriage and didn't know I was being abused until I went to a therapist and he opened my eyes and explained how to deal with my abuser. My wife hated my therapist because she completely lost control of me afterward. I will always be grateful to that therapist because he gave me the key to my jail cell. My ex would always twist everything she did to me into saying that she had the right to do it, that i was the jerk, that i deserved it because i was worse. The guy who was together with her before me snapped and laid his hands on her, he went to court and he has been unemployed for years now, basically got his life ruined because of her. Im so glad i could control myself and never laid my hands on her, because there was alot of times where i just wanted to shake her head against a wall. I havnt been in a single relationship since then and ive met alot of women who gives me those warning signs and i know alot of men who doesnt have anything to say in their relationships, they are like dogs taking commands from their girlfriends. It's like you are standing in waist deep water. She goes under water and starts stabbing you in the leg with a steak knife. She pops back up and you yell at her "What is wrong with you!?!" And if no one takes the time to search out facts, or worse says steak knife leg stabbing is OK, you are a bad guy with anger issues. There is no win possible there. Been there. I'm glad you got out. That said, now that I am single again, my life is good. When asked why I don't date? "I like peace. How would dating bring more peace into my life?" Sometimes riotous laughter is the response. It's also a cultural trait as well. A societal sense of entitlement from the learned victim oppressor dynamic. Where women are painted and riled up as the victims and men as the oppressors. However, that dynamic is actually equalizing and reversing in some cases. Feminism teaches women that men are supposed to act in certain ways and are to comply with feminism. We see this through feminism telling men to be more emotional, the silencing of men in the public mainstream, the neglect and obliviousness of men's issues in society to favour the feminist agenda. Telling more to take up home labor, propagating the falsity of the gender wage gap in order to give younger cohorts of women a financial advantage. In a lot of ways this is a societal oppression of men. When men don't conform to their high expectations, or women don't hold themselves to their same equivalent standards they hold men to, them become angry. It can manifest into what appears to be a narcissistic sociopathathic disorder, sometimes with verbal or physical abuse, or treating men as disposable. Leading to the majority of divorce cases issued by women. The trough of marriage and fertility rates when men don't meet their expectations. Add in an inflated ego from all the attention women get from dating apps and the hook up culture we live in, helps to create that narcissistic sociopath disorder. To fix this, feminism should be more emphatic to men, closer to how men are constantly taught to be more emphatic to women's issues. I don't think that should or can be done under the banner of feminism either.

I'm still struggling to come to terms with the fact that I allowed myself to be in that position for so long. I lost all my confidence and had no concept of self worth. I understand that she's not to blame for everything. I made a lot of mistakes too, but I do understand now that I was in an abusive relationship. We're divorced now and I'm working on me. I nearly married a physiologically abusive woman. It snuck up on me, initially she was all sweetness and light but gradually every wrong I supposedly committed had some contorted logic behind it. After gradually escalating arguments, it was 11 months in before I realised that I still did not have a copy of the house key to the place I was living. That is when the lightbulb went on for me and I knew I had to get out fast. After leaving her she even held all my stuff hostage.

This video, about this topic, is a much needed one. I used to hang with a girl which was a sick one. She definitely has some kind of bipolar disorder. She was doing horrible things in her relations, and unfortunately to me too. Mine psychological defense was too record all the conversations with her. I thought that I was going crazy, but thank to these recordings, thanks to the certainty that she said what she said, because I have a proof of that, I started to shake off my feeling of guilt. I started to see that she is highly abusive and psychotic. I didn't shared these recording with no one, but I have them deeply hidden. They remind me to beware of crazy b*****es.

@@JAYMOAP Yes and no. You can break up immediately after getting hit, but you'd still have 'taken it', as you were actually hit and could've lost hearing regardless. So you're blaming the victim without actually knowing the story. At the same time, you're not going to break up a relationship over a single insult, so the question is, where does one draw the line? For a lot of people, especially decent secure people who haven't gotten an incline what's abuse, it takes a while to assess when it's becoming abusive. They give their lover the benefit of the doubt until they're either fed up with it or educated by video's like this, also most likely she didn't hit him on the first date. These things grow worse over time...in the beginning they're always sweet like an angel, once you become attached or invested, things start trickling down hill until it becomes a torrent of abuse.

My absence socially .... Reached out with truth of my marriage that was not available to me. Multiple video evidence of my ex-wife and her co-worker eeriely resemblancing of me in an extra relationship. Men naturally try to fix problems especially in their marriage ... Sadly, there was no instruction for men back in the day. In retrospect, as an older man, this information would have saved considerable pain and confusion. Usually the first and it all came down to something I did serveral mouths or even years before and had nothing to do with whatever had happened that day. Needless to say that didn't last because argueing/fighting for that long is sooo tirering. Edit: Watching the rest of the video I can relate even more cause this relationship was with a narcissistic girlfriend. She discredited everything I did and could even start a fight over the tone of my voice. It became a daily thing that one thing or another had to be discussed because we didn't see eye to eye and she could manipulate everything get be in her favor. This relationship went on for 4 years and it was first about 2-3 years (mind 4 years AFTER the relationsship ended) ago that I stumpled upon videoen on narcisism that it finally clicked for me that this was what I had been exposed to. - This entire experience have deeply scared me when approathing women as it have made me very unsure of my actions towards women. An ability I didn't have before but is slowly getting rid of.

Equality today means All of the equality but none of the responsibilities and it has created monsters.

I know all about this too well. What is the most upsetting to me is how convinced they are that they did nothing wrong. It's narcissism. I know that very well from a 9 year old narcissistic abuse relationship I was in. But knowing that, I see these traits naturally appear in average women, way more then in men. Tying in to that idea, that to women it's an evolutionary trait to be extremely good at lying to them selves, in turn to everyone else, because nature designed them to not get caught cheating. But this means, an ability to constantly not take responsibility. So this would oddly mean that average women, naturally have things in common with narcissists. I noted this type of crazy-making behavior in a lot of specific women in my life (Ones I am convinced are even "higher quality, smart, compassionate" ones). And I don't mean just "being emotional and not rational". I mean specifically when they clearly went into abusive territory as a means of self defense, and in turn abusing the other person, and completely not showing any empathy for them. All to clear their own ego. At the time I justified it for them, thinking, they just find it hard to feel like the bad guy, can't take being criticized. But then I saw the same pattern of shifting blame with more and more women, for the most obvious things, and if logically, with a nice tone and intentions, proven wrong, they go to these abuse tactics.

I had a narc i thought was friend, she's abusing her husband and controlling him abuse him financially, One day her husband's told eveything to his brother and his brother then talk to the narc to slow down because they are in not so good situation financially, she rage and use me as scapegoat it happened i was dating with her brother in law that time, I was no idea back then about NPD, I was lost i didn't see it coming. The guy i was dating with has no empathy, i felt like hes just watching me go through all those pain, He kinda slip and said, she was a narcissist, i got curious, i never ever heard that word, i googled it and baam, all my experience with this so called narc friend was validated, she fits in all the box of NPD. I started learning npd and saw all red flag in the guy i was dating. So yeah i dealt 2 NPD individual at the same time, i was played and betrayed by those snake who pretend as friend and the other was the guy i was with almost 2 years.. im now 6 months free of this guy, and they both knew i see them as what they really are.. Painful awakening and yeah, evil exist in form of human.

I'm relating to this video so much. I had a similar relationship. Regular 4-6 hour arguments, 7-9 hours on my own birthday being accused of cheating and all sorts, with zero evidence. Gaslighting, twisting the truth, accusations. It's so eye opening in hindsight but at the time I was so caught up in trying to understand her and partly believing I was somehow causing her awful behaviour

True story. GF repeatedly told me that her problems --- things outside of my control --- were my fault. I just shrugged it off as some kind of joke. (The logic behind the accusations were just patently absurd.) We started getting into some silly verbal fights, and I naively thought I could "handle it. (Pretty stupid, I know. lol) Then, a big fight happened, and it all became crystal clear. She meant it when she accused me of being at fault for everything. She shouted out me, blamed me (for not doing enough for her), hit me, threw stuff at me, and then she accused me of being "the abuser" because I apparently bumped into her when I literally stood up for myself. (Did not like having someone screaming down at me while I am sitting down on the couch.) The clincher, after abusing me, she wanted me to apologize for abusing her. WTF??? This is when it becomes real --- and you know it is not a joke. You finally realize what might happen if the argument repeats, escalates even further, and an illogical claim is made that the fight is "your fault" and she "had to" hit you because you did [whatever she wants to claim you did] to provoke her. For me, that is where it ends. I will miss the great times we had, and could have had....but (for self-preservation) every man has to shut it down when you realize (1) your GF verbally or physically abuses or fights and (2) she instinctively blames you for whatever may ensue.

It didn’t occur to me until recently that this is domestic violence. I’m disgusted with the continued portrayal of domestic violence is that it’s all about men physically attacking women. I left the marriage 9 years ago because I had been thinking of ending my life. I have received regular therapy trying to fix what I thought were my shortcomings for approx 18 year. Despite my efforts and desire to improve as a man I was going deeper into depression and the feeling of hopelessness was becoming overwhelming. It’s only since I found out the truth that I have been a victim of domestic abuse, that I have started therapy for the real cause of my problems. Prior to that, not one of the many therapists I had repeated sessions with had recognised the abuse. I had even been referring to some incidents and suggesting I felt the psychological abuse should be considered as unacceptable as physical violence. I’m please to say I have made significant progress in my recovery in this past month. I do wish I never had to endure the years of needles suffering though. Well done for recognising the real issue in the problem that was presented to you and for correcting the advice you gave

Yes. Definitely equal to if not more so than physical. As long term PTSD is the result frm the trauma. And if you're a sensitive guy, as I am, the trauma and pain is 100x worse, and years of therapy still doesn't heal the damage completely. Scarred for life. So I 100pc agree with your statements, and empathise, sympathise, and glad you're healing recovering, and a Survivor as its no wonder in 2014, 80pc of suicides were men, in 2016, 85 pc, in 2018, 90pc, and 2020,. Just be 95pc, and 2023 now. Probably 98pc. Things have got so bad,... hence men so fearful, young and older, to enter into R Ships with women, due to their schizophrenia toxic feminazi type BS and entitled mentality... Any good women out there are rarer than rubies gold and diamonds. God help us all.
