Sam, don't worry or stress on this Italian trip. The 360 Modena proves to be solid like a rock. You will not run into any problems when the car is maintained by the book/schedual (as this 360 is). Even older models 308/328,Mondial (=over 30y old) can do a trip like this, I did it over 7 times in the last decade. Never ever any issues. It is (pre)maintenance what makes or breakes a Ferrari. Buying one is the easy part, finding the right one a bit harder but maintain it is the hardest. When you/the 360 needs a maintenance go for the specialists (not the cheap mechanic around the corner). You pay a bit more but when you trade the 360 in it will come back to you $$$$. Hell, when the market is kind to you you can even make a (small) profit, pending on milage and condition of the car and if maintenance is preformed as it should be... I moved up from 328GTS to F430, go every year to Italy/Como- Villa 'd Este/Erbe to enjoy this great brand and all the cars there. Enjoy this trip, scenery and food. Also enjoy the crazy Italians who goes Banana's seeing/hearing a Ferrari. You must do/follow the Mille Miglia once in a Ferrari. You will be blown away what this car can do and how easy is is to drive at (higher) speeds. Ps park anywhere you like, the cavalino is your national parking permit. You will not get a fine anywhere. More likely thumbs up also from Police. They like to hear the V8 scream down the autostrada...

Get BespokeOEM to make you a new steering wheel along with the hub! They would use an OEM Ferrari 360 steering wheel and then put carbon or alcantara where you want it!
