Jerry's horror is probably not just because of the pizza that was just offered but also the realization that he has previously eaten Apple pie that was probably prepared in an unsanitary way judging by her earlier reaction to that.

Pretty easy to debunk this. He left, went 20 feet to the kitchen sink and washed his hands there. Its probably better soaps, larger sink area, higher water pressure, and no one peeing and pooing around him....
@LedGuitar12182 жыл бұрын
Many of my students point this possibility out. However, something to consider is that state law requires employees to wash before they leave the restroom. You can see signs posted in the restaurant bathroom. This prevents any contamination on the way to the kitchen. Something else to consider, he touched his clothes/apron and his hair prior to washing, and an employee should never wear their apron to the restroom. This is a cross contamination concern. Thanks for the comment. Cheers

I have a friend that's 70 years old and doesn't believe in washing his hands if he pees. i don't know him personally but i tried and tried to convince him to start washing his hands. Now he pings on his penis being cleaned and perhaps mine is dirty. No, I don't have a dirty penis I tell him, I was just taught from an early age to ALWAYS wash your hands. I am amazed while traveling, especially in a rest room, how many men don't wash their hands. So I get a paper towel and touch everything especially the handle as I leave. Am I a germaphobe? @@Wineoclockbookworm I feel for you, I mean "what can I say?" It's gross but if you stand in a man's bath room, not many wash their hands. I do NOT know the percentage but I am shocked. It's sad, but perhaps because I was taught from an early age to wash mine. Maybe I'm different. My wife notices when a man OR woman doesn't wash their hands. WOW, I'll be 65 in a few days, I was 62 when I wrote that. Basically I said the same thing. Divorce is strong word, so perhaps a LONG LONG talk.

@LedGuitar12185 жыл бұрын
bladeart That always gets my students irritated too. Some tv cooks cook with rings on, but I don’t allow it in my kitchens nor do I think it’s good practice. I suppose properly washed rings with no grooves would be ok, but no ring is clearly better. Rings with grooves, stone settings, and crevasses can harbor bacteria and other pathogens for sure. My students also suggest, maybe he washed his hands in the kitchen hand-washing sink, however signs and regulations clearly state that employees should not leave the restroom without washing because they could spread pathogens on the way there. Thanks for the comment. Cheers
