What’s ironic is that Kramer delivers the line perfectly the first time.

Despite how neurotic he is, George actually copes with his stress really well. That scene where he gets tuna salad and meets the pretty blonde, introducing himself as, "My name is George. I'm unemployed and live with my parents." Dude only needs like a 90 second pity party, a 30 second pep talk, and a little bit of believing in himself, and he's good to get rejected another 10 times.

I'd seen these clips before and decided to finally sit down and watch all of Seinfeld. Knowing how first seasons of TV go I figured season 1 wouldn't be anything like the episodes that produce these kinds of clips and I was right. Season 1 George is a little neurotic and nihilistic but hes never chewing up the scenery or acting manic. That got me thinking, when does George become manic and insane? Season 2 Episode 3. That's when George Costanza becomes George Costanza.
