I watch her every day. That's no exaggeration. The world lost a great entertainer/singer, but most of all, we lost the best role model for our kids AND for ourselves. She is the true definition of class, style, sincerity, kindness & had an amazing work ethic. She stood by her beliefs, & never changed herself for anyone.

'Dreaming of you' SELENA was thinking of Chris too but he couldn't make it to the studio to hear her sing it. After she died Chris couldn't listen to it for a long time. Very tragic that a person can take another person's life without a thought, esp someone like SELENA whose been there for YS and treated her like a Queen. YS had the world in her hands and blew it. Let her think about it as she rots away in prison. Her parole will be up in a few years. I pray they don't let her out. SELENA fans need to get in touched with the Texas governor and Legislatures to see that she's never set loose. This is not about forgiveness. This is about justice for a woman who was just living her life, had a family, a husband, a career, a future and it was taken away unnecessarily by a hateful, spiteful, jealous, obscessive individual. Rip Reina. We'll see you again. Heavenly pre bday. 💝😘🎈

That is why when it was announced that afternoon that was was killed, everyone across TEXAS stopped and cried. I wish everyone saw how talented she was. EVERY concert, had you dancing. Even the painful love songs brought tears. She was pure love, dancing to this beat kind of artist. Pure talent. Voice, body, smile, dance moves. Selena was going to explode on the music scene. And yes she did do the moon walk! She performed to “Billie Jean” at an awards show in the 80s!

Selena's dancing is so good in this performance I would have thought that she had been taking professional dance classes since she was a little girl if I did not know better. This brilliant girl was so ahead of her time that it's taken the world 25 years to even begin to comprehend her greatness. There's no other word for this but genius. And she was a serial entrepreneur as well with plans to go global. She would've grown her name to a billion-dollar empire I believe if she'd stayed on course.

It's a shame that her talent is now being "rediscovered" and now people understand why Tejanos loved SELENA so much. She was the Total Package and she put it on display every time she went on stage. Many of us that were blessed enough to see her perform can attest to her talent. I'm 70 years old and enjoyed her then and still do now. One thing that made me emotional was the first time I saw her beautiful statue on the Ocean Front in Corpus Christi, Texas. Mind you it's a beautiful statue, but when my wife and I saw it for the first time, it was a cold and rainy day and my only thought was "SELENA is all by herself in this cold rain" . We've been there many times again, but I'm always reminded of that first cold and rainy day.
