1:53 her dad all serious, rushing her, she ignored him cuz she always took the time to talk to people and be sweetheart no matter what. She wanted to leave you with a good feeling. That's how gracious and congenial she always was. Absolutely gave her all to her fans and always stayed humble. You never saw her mad or be nasty to anyone period.

@@DoTheMost- Don't forget his little girl one day lost her life, brutally shot dead at the hands of a deranged sick individual. No matter what we look at and see in the past of Selena, we just see the surface. That was his little girl, he saw her the moment she was born. I remember where I was and what I was doing the day she lost her life but her father remembers the day her life began , so I think his smiles, his smiling stopped the day her beautiful life was ripped from her. No matter what we think or feel about the father or the family in general , we must always stop and try to imagine what it must be really like when that father, loses his little girl , in such an incredibly brutal and horriffic manner. Selena was trying to prove a point where we can eat whatever we want but we always have to be occupied. She was always up and moving and working on new projects. She was never still which explains the amount of success she has.

LadyL31786 I agree but I heard it was a family decision to close it I think Chris was going through a bad divorce and he didn’t want his ex wife to claim anything from Selena or her boutique so I heard it was family’s choice to close it a fan asked Suzette if theirs any chance for it to reopen and she said no

According to Chris, the Quintanillas weren't exactly supportive of her dream to have her own boutiques at first, especially Abraham. He said she should just focus on her music career.

The boutiques were a product of their time, the early 90's. Brick-and-mortar stores are going out and online stores are the new thing. If Selena were alive and still in the fashion biz, she would have moved the store online as well. The boutiques wouldn't even work as museums since there's already one for her.

@@Nutty151 If she were still alive those boutiques would have probably flourished and grew at least for the next 10 to 15 years before going online. E-commerce only really got huge the past 10 years or so. I was still heavily going out to physical stores before 2010.

Did u guys saw how educated and friendly she was when the reporter that Asked unas palabras para Monterrey, her dad said WE NEED TO GO!!! She stoped and said a few words and than she kissed the reporter on the cheek and she even told him “YOU HAVE LIPSTICK ON IT CHEEk!!! She was amazing!!! I def missed her!! The way she treated the reporters the way they respected her. The way she ask for things, the way she fixed the reporters neckless. The way she was was so genuine and that is why we all love her and enjoyed remembering her. She was absolutely amazing!!! I wish she was here to enjoy her more.

In my world I made the impossible possible by booking my first plane trip to Corpus Christi in August to visit some Selena sites. So ready to go and hopefully if nothing goes wrong my dream will come true. As an African American girl I have been a fan since I was six years old and had the dream of going and now I'm finally am.

One thing I loved about Selena is she never forgot where she came from. I think that’s what made her so real and so relatable. She was true to who she was and she truly adored her fans. There will never be another like Selena! She was an angel on earth!

It's a TRAGEDY she's not around at would be her 50th birthday (this year: 2021) to still be sharing her incredible talent and joy to others. May you Rest in peace Selena.

The family didn't practice their religion. Her sister Suzette mentioned this in later interviews after Selena's passing. BTW I love Aries folks. I get along with them very well. I would have loved to find a girl like this.

I was born in 2004 so i never got to meet Selena but watching these clips of her it’s like i actually got too Selena’s laugh and her music was everything and still is I will never forget the queen of music ❤️❤️

Cada vez que veo entrevistas, la veo reir tan lindo, tantos sueños, talento, trabajadora, divertida, ni una pizca de orgullo y no se daba cuenta de su gran fama ella quería tomarse fotos con artistas como un fan normal, su inocencia tan marcada! Y me duele, se me pone un nudo en la garganta, lloro y se me encoge el corazón por todo lo bueno que no pudo vivir, su amor, tener su familia, su casa soñada que se la merecía. Si he sufrido por amor, Chris Perez nos daría cátedra de lo que verdaderamente se siente que te arrebaten un amor eterno pero estoy segura se reunirán algún día para por fin dejar de sufrir! I was lucky. I went to see Selenas sites as well, and ran into her father. He showed us the museum before it opened. He treated us, as if we knew him forever. I'll never forget that. Selena was a person for the people. Selena in this world, would have been a International super star for sure. R.I.P Selena
